I have to say that I think that this is an absolutely brilliant video for a first timer like myself! I sincerely prefer these videos over the "DIY" experts on youtube that every single tool in the world, just so happens to be in their garage type of videos.Well done. I am MOST DEFINITELY trying this
No bad. An interesting and different way of doing things. Although I do think wood was very flimsy. I'd use, at least, 1/2". But I definitely learned something here and I can add it to my repertoire of knowledge.
Great video!!! I will be mounting 2 4 channels on each side of my trunk with my mono block mounted in the middle of the backside of my trunk. All thanks to this video! Keep up the good work bro!
I just finished my installation! Thanks to your video. It came out clean! It took awhile but I didnt want to rush the process of screwing anything up. I want to send it to you
Awesome video man, this helped a lot. One thing that I personally think would look even nicer would be a thicker wood, routed out a bevel to flush some plexi and light up the Amp:) I'm a sucker for the plexi/neon though. This is SUPER clean.
Love it Looks clean . Not just an amp hooked up and wires crazy all over the the place in the trunk . Very professional work. Looks as if it was factory that way . A person wouldn't mind having intalled if it would looks like this. I would mine for it to stay in the car this way. Great job!!! .
I think your video is awesome, i have built an amp panel with your video as a guide and i must say, my panel came out awesome, better then what i expected. Thanks for the great video.
Thanks for the video. I'm actually working on my amp rack tonight and got the two amps sitting one on top of the other with the top amp angle in a little due to the wheel well. I couldn't figure out how I wanted to mount the rack to the vehicle securely and have it still look clean. I really like your flush style carpeted fabrication. It's also easy to access the wires still when needed to because its mostly pressure fitted. Great idea. My only tif was that you ended up covering the heatsinks with the 2x4's. Anyway, after watching this video, I feel inspired and motivated again after hitting that wall. Thanks brotha
Hey man nice work I've been searching a long time on RUclips of a flush mount amp rack and finally I came across this one and you show step by step process of how to do it others fast-forward through it playing music and not showing you actually what they do I appreciate it sir!!
Does the Amp fabrication ever fall over when you make a hard turn? I didn't see you mounting it to the body. I know you said tight fit would hold it in but still. Just asking. Let me know
the thumb pic looks really good, i thought the build was going to be that good, turned out to be a flimsy piece of wood... why not 1/2 mdf? and also a solid support behind instead of two small blocks of wood?
Thank so much for this info is very helpful I'm so tired of my trunks looking the way they Good job on recording your video and most definitely your is amazing looks very nice
thanks for the video it was very informative I'm doing my caddy the same way. I'm using Alpine mrv old school boom. All of your videos give me motivation. keep up the good work.
Did you like the adhesive in your hands lol Hey I got a question. Does the panel pop off when you gotta make a hard turn? I mean the video is very good I like the idea but I feel like the amp will push the whole panel out when you make a turn with that weight on the amp
Very creative and wonderful job, well done to you my man, something I'd certainly try, love the fact that there is space behind to run the wires and hide them.
Looks really Good. Hey is that a Chrysler 300 ? just curious. But I have to re carpet my entire trunk because the liner is kind of out of shape and I don't like how its loosely sitting around the wheel wells and all that I want to have it All carpeted nice and tight and do what you did for the Amp
Don't modern amps need air circulation for cooling? I've been out of car audio for about 25 years and we used to have to keep them ventilated or you'd cut their life by half or more.
what's with all the negative comments? I've made those amp panels for over 30 yrs and they not only look great they are also very sturdy when mounted properly
Was looking to mount my amp nicely, i think ill do the same. I have a 2002 honda accord. Great video, and enjoyed the music. P.s. I dont think will cause overheat issue, the top face of amp is exposed. If it does overheat ,just put a fan back there and maybe trim some edges of the board for flow.
A great video nice job! The flush mount looks great! My 2 amps are mounted on both sides but aren't flush mount I'm installing a 40" x 18" x 15" enclosure duel 12's. The problem is my amps are about 43" apart so if I flush mount them it will look way better and give me about 3" on each side👍
Great videos. Thumbs up. Subscribed. I have a single cab truck and I'm debating whether to put two or one sub speaker. What do you recomend? (personal use only) Thanks
I had a 96(?) Ranger with a single 10" sub in a sealed box. I only had about 150 watts pushing it, and it was plenty for me. One thing that I learned, check the mounting depth of the sub.
Nice job...my only issue/concern is the support for the Amp. Yes, less is often better. But I have a hard time accepting that less structure holding your Amp in place is better.
Lessco Electronics indeed. Basics of how to and what to do are there. But within the how to/example it would of been better showing a proper way to secure the Amp as well. As for just the creation of the panel itself it was a great video.
Looks good Bro nice match with the trunk liner material. It looks a lot like factory which is the style I like. If you have a couple of minutes check out the iPad I installed in my truck dash. Great video!
What was the main reason for the relocation of the amp supports. I'm not worried about heat that much sense it's one of the newer ones. Just curious on the thoughts/reasons of the creator.

thanks man
Great work man, love the clean look that it gives off like if it came that way from the factory, absolutely brilliant....
No bad. An interesting and different way of doing things. Although I do think wood was very flimsy. I'd use, at least, 1/2". But I definitely learned something here and I can add it to my repertoire of knowledge.
he is just pointing you in the right direction thanks for the vid

I really like this install and it's very achievable! Thanks for showing all the steps!
I think your video is awesome, i have built an amp panel with your video as a guide and i must say, my panel came out awesome, better then what i expected. Thanks for the great video.
Im just glad I was able to help
Great Video.... I'll definitely be doing this in my 96 LaSabre.... That music is going to be in my head all day.... La La, La La...
Thanks for the video. I'm actually working on my amp rack tonight and got the two amps sitting one on top of the other with the top amp angle in a little due to the wheel well. nice man. i need to make a rack for a sundown scv2000. definitely need something propping it up for fan to pull air
I like this installation, my only question to this is how it held in place especially if you should hit a bump or pothole in the road???
Great job 👌
Good work man
Looks super clean a little jenkey behind the scenes but clean
Nice build
very nice!! ima give this a shot!!
Did you like the adhesive in your hands lol
Hey I got a question.
Does the panel pop off when you gotta make a hard turn?
I mean the video is very good I like the idea but I feel like the amp will push the whole panel out when you make a turn with that weight on the amp

Hey I tried what you did I changed a few things but you gave me a good guide line to follow
Very creative and wonderful job, well done to you my man, something I'd certainly try, love the fact that there is space behind to run the wires and hide them.

Haters hate, Im used to it....

Nice tip, but 3mm wood is bad idea
Awesome 👏 looks great 👍
Thank you for sharing your project!!!
I'm doing a build right now for my charger and this tutorial was helpful. thank you
A great video nice job! The flush mount looks great! My 2 amps are mounted on both sides but aren't flush mount I'm installing a 40" x 18" x 15" enclosure duel 12's. The problem is my amps are about 43" apart so if I flush mount them it will look way better and give me about 3" on each side👍

Wow That's was fast and easy.....Great job!!!!
Very nice I will try this soon. Would love the extra floor space.
I’m running a Memphis mojo also. 12” on 3300 watt American bass vfl 175.1
Nice job...my only issue/concern is the support for the Amp. Yes, less is often better. But I have a hard time accepting that less structure holding your Amp in place is better.
I agree, But this is just a demo/example, its not an actual project for a customer.
Lessco Electronics indeed. Basics of how to and what to do are there. But within the how to/example it would of been better showing a proper way to secure the Amp as well. As for just the creation of the panel itself it was a great video.
looks nice mam! great job
Where do you get the grey material for the trunk?
Good stuff. Thanks for the inspiration.
damn, that's some nice work. Never thought to use luon or however it's spelled, that's a great idea.
How do you mount the wood to the side panel?
very very cool!! I will try, thx!
Looks good Bro nice match with the trunk liner material. It looks a lot like factory which is the style I like. If you have a couple of minutes check out the iPad I installed in my truck dash. Great video!
Mate everyone’s giving you flack but this looks mint 🤘 well done
I know, everyone is so serious these days, and I threw this mock-up demo project away when the video was uploaded. haters hate I guess..
Nice interesting project.
I was wondering about ventilation though, my amp is a lot bigger, while the boot (trunk) is much smaller.
Respect to thr tryer...
Nice, question, what holds finished panel in place?
I add 2 hidden wood screws
Gravity lmao
That looks awesome!! good job on that..
Lol....I'm watching this in my car and the bass is hitting
What was the main reason for the relocation of the amp supports. I'm not worried about heat that much sense it's one of the newer ones. Just curious on the thoughts/reasons of the creator.
+Brian Rott It just helped the reassembly a little for me. It was a last minute thing.
Nice job man 👌🏼
Nice done
Love the clean install , im ocd and it works for me :)
That looks awsome so clean, Im trying to do something similar on my car.
what did you use, or how did you mount the entire piece onto the car??
This panel I mocked up for the video is held in exclusively by pressure.
Great ideas
