Hi Emily! I'm so glad you covered this 'CCR' song! It sound's so vibrantly fantastic!! Everything about this is outstanding! The guitars are so bright and fresh that your semi-acoustic almost sounds like a 12 string guitar! So some brilliant recording and mixing done here; thanks to Christine and Elvis! 😊 I like the casual get-up attire for the presentation too, as it suits the song so well.
The stereo mixed guitars are simply Wow!! Some terrific work by Simon and you're also playing so confident and superb! 🎸🎸 What a delightful video cut-away at 1:13 to you and Simon on the lounge! This was great singing on this song. I have heard others known singers put some to sleep singing this song. Back in the 60s, I must have heard CCR songs having cassette tapes many times. Cassette was the up from reel to reel (large reels using projectors), as being mobile.

This is fantastic! This song came out when I was in high school. We all used to sing: "There's a bathroom on the right!" (Edited) I just saw the below comment! So we weren't the only ones!
I was lucky enough to see John Fogerty last summer and even he threw in a line about the bathroom on the right!!

@@EmilyLinge This song holds the number one in misheard lyrics. Realize also we could not go to the internet to check out the lyrics, we had to wait til the sheet music came out.
@@EmilyLinge John Fogerty sometimes sings the last line of the chorus as "there's a bathroom on the right" during concerts because that line is often misheard. The correct line is "there's a bad moon on the rise" of course.

An absolute beautiful rendition of this ccr classic ... love the duel guitar piece well done .. this iconic song was written by John Fogerty and was released in 1969 and would appear on the album Green River the song peaked at number 2 on the hot 100 on 28 June 1969 the song was inspired by an old film Noir 😃 Emily you and Simon did an excellent job on this song and I’m sure when John hears it he will love it 🔥🔥🔥😎🤘🏻🎸
