- Today in our village, we cook the traditional palm leaf chicken recipe by using palm leaves. Basically, the palmyra tree is the state tree of Tamil Nadu because the palmyra tree is everywhere in Tamil Nadu. Our Village peoples lifestyle together with palmyra trees. We use palmyra for building homes, as food and to earn money too.
Today we use palm leaves to cook. After the cook, the chicken fry is tastiest than ever because the aroma of the palm leaf is marvellous!
The taste of the chicken recipe is... Spicy!

If it's cooked we will eat it if not Grandpa has cooked delicious Mutton Curry for us to eat and we will go home as if nothing happened :) Regardless we have to open the Cooking pot to know let's see
8:10 The aroma is so good and it's been cooked well. Lucky its a leg piece we also cook the chicken as soft as cotton(panju mathiri) was worried because of the rain but it came out quite good
8:45 On palm leaf you can have Rice with any gravy it will taste quite good. Was a bit sad before I could not take this heavenly taste but glad it turned out good? We have made this completely by steaming it on Palm leaf nothing beats it. It was a bit sad we cannot eat it with rice though as it's wet all around.
