    Nice trad playing! Thought I'd check out how other people play Out on the Ocean after my band arranged it in our "Ambient Temperatures" set!

    My D&D bard plays concertina because of a sailor they fell in love with. I’m putting this little tune in their story :) The sailor taught my bard how to play this before he was lost to the waves. Im getting emotional over a fictional thing, but that’s the power of music and stories ❤️

      It sounds like G to C. So:
      G-B-D -> G-C-E where B moves to C and D moves to E while G stays the same

    Is there such a thing as an "Irish" concertina?

      The Anglo concertina was even from Germany, not England, and only from 1850s, but the Anglo is def the main concertina in trad Irish music these days
