@@GoldenViolet25 As much as I love Sonic and Sally's romantic relationship in the comics that all takes place in its own non canon universe so up bringing Sally and her non canon relationship with Sonic is kinda pointless.
Not to mention the fact that when talking about the actal canon, Amy always has and most likly always will be the closest thing Sonic has to a love interest. (Now whether or not the two actally get together I won't touch upon.)

I don't really like Sonally if I'm honest.
However I agree with everything else you said. The comics aren't even canon so. And apparently according to SEGA Sonic does like Amy back, he just doesn't like love nor does he want to confess because romance isn't his thing. They said he likes her however he doesn't want a relationship which is why he runs away from her.
However this doesn't apply in scenes like Sonic Boom because it's so obvious they *both* like each other in Boom and there have been some real SonAmy hints in Boom. It's also been confirmed he likes Amy in Sonic X he just doesn't want a relationship.

People talk about Amy's gloves, but nobody says a thing about Sonic's having practically the size of Knuckles' gloves

I absolutely admire the sprites of Amy just vibin'. Don't know why, there's just something about it that makes me go *yes.*
Amy was on her usual stroll, chasing sonic down gleefully. Suddenly, an army of a new robot species; Egg-bots began charging at sonic and amy. Worse, one had eggman riding on it with a box of Microphones for an odd reason. Right behind amy, and startling her, a giant boombox is dropped down. And that is where it all began. Eggman threw a microphone at sonic and one of the egg-bots threw amy onto the radio. Sonic catches the microphone, and tests it out.
“I suppose I know just about what time it is, egg-head!”
Sonic snaps a finger, and the show begins.
Can we appreciate the detial of the mod? Like literally knuckles driving, the gems in the back, the backgrounds and how cute everyone looks (except eggman lol)
