This is the best technique by far in my humble opinion. I have been watching many other videos. I don't like the folded fabric that many choose to leave on the inside of the hem. Cutting the excess and tucking the stitched raw fold neatly into the hem is certainly the neatest and cleanest way that I have seen. It's a masterpiece of a job. Everyone should take note. This is the technique that I will certainly adopt for my jean hem alterations.

The technique will work on flared jeans too. But since the hem is wider in flared jeans, u will have to shorten it before reattaching.
