I'm 54 and my wife and I are VERY worried about our future, gas and food prices rising daily. I feel your pain mate, as a fellow retiree, I’d suggest you look into passive index fund investing and learn some more. For me, I had my share of ups and downs when I first started looking for a consistent passive income so I hired an expert advisor for aid, and following her advice, I poured $30k in value stocks and digital assets, Up to 200k so far and pretty sure I'm ready for whatever comes.

1) Detailed FNO loss or gain how to compute and adjust with other income
2) once I got capital gains on property. My CA told i can't set off my capital gains against previous year loss. Only for current year it is possible.
3) FNO presumptive tax
4) FNO deductions ( bank interest, rent paying for present house, computers ( every year we can buy new one? ) , mobiles , internet and any other
5) STT paid amount to double taxation..can anything be done here. Or atleast can we appeal to Finance minister? How? They can raise STT but allow us to set off against income..

Anna, please explain income tax rules on F&O gains/losses for a Salaried employee under 30% tax slab. Is it required to maintain books of audit if in ITR we show F&O gain less than 6% of turnover? Also about section 44AD for F&O income
Do not go for turnover tax. File ITR for loss or gain.

If you're a small trader with 2 cr turnover, opt for 44AD and pay advance tax only one time i.e. March 15 of the F.Y. (By that time, you would definitely know your position)
If you're a big trader -turnover being more than 2cr, you've to pay advance tax every quarter. Ofcourse you've to estimate your tax liability before😂
