No other series will ever come close to Ratchet & Clank. So much diversity, so much detail, my childhood was awesome (I'm an adult now and I still play and enjoy every game of the series that comes out).
Yeah man, they do a lot to add a lot to keep it fresh each iteration but still familiar. AAA titles could learn a lot from this platforming masterpiece

+yoyoitsfatmanjoe Agreed, i'll never forget that one moment in the first game though... Ratchet: Hey look plumbers crack Plumber:What? Ratchet:Uhh, i said hey look plumbers back Plumber:Okay Wise Guy
You know, everyone gives Link a reputation for smashing every damn pot there is but seriously though, the moment you put Ratchet near a few wooden boxes....
Yeah exactly, in a crack in time he actually looked mature and his body was proportioned properly. But then they made him shorter, his head bigger, and his arms skinnier. Ugh so dumb.
Jordon Emanuel yeah my thoughts exactly. It's stupid, I'm sure they got rid of the subtle adult humor too. They already had to change the titles of the ps2 games cuz they were too suggestive.
Memories, just are you trying to make me cry? Just omg I remeber each one of this maps like I played it yesterday and it passed 10 years for sure, that is how much I love this game
Holy crap, in all of my life I have never, EVER even CONSIDERED rethinking the wordplay on the titles. and I have the four first games, too... Going Commando? Up Your Arsenal? Wow.
Nostalgia:') The Ratchet and Clank games are together with the Jak, Sly Cooper and Legend of Zelda games my childhood. This was a part of my childhood in video form. I love and have enjoyed every Ratchet and Clank game except for Full Frontal Assault. My favorite R&C game is a tie between: Going Commando, Up Your Arsenal and A Crack In Time:) Absolutely love this franchise and I can't wait for the newest Ratchet and Clank for the PlayStation 4.
Will this PS2 era ever be beat.? Ico, Ratchet & Clank 1, Jak & Daxter 1 & 2 , Silent Hill 2, Beyond Good & Evil, Project Zero 1, Half-Life, Okami, Prince of Persia 1, Psychonauts, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Code: Veronica X, The Thing, TimeSplitters 2, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell, Gregory Horror Show.
Going Commando and Tools of Destruction are easily my two favorites. I'm still waiting for another long Ratchet and Clank game with the same character designs as the ones in Crack in Time/Tools of Destruction.
I think this video is how I found out that there were Ratchet and Clank games for the PS2 because I started with the future trilogy and didn't use the internet that much when I was younger. Now I have a Ps2 with all the games in the series. Probably the best video game series ever made!
Tea Ninja Yeah, I forgot to mention nostalgia for whatever reason. That also happens to me because I grew up with the original games, but still, I find the newer ones at least as good. All Ratchet & Clank games are awesome for me though.
Kayspaify Me too. I'll always love UYA the most because that game is my childhood and I still enjoy it, but the newer ones are also amazing. Even in the less good games I can still find something to enjoy.
Kayspaify For me Tools of Destruction was terrible. It just felt odd playing it. Also it had too many "area" battles in every level. A Crack in Time fixed a ton of problems from the 1st Future game and is my 2nd favorite R&C game. Into the Nexus is no bad.....but God I hated the opening level. I almost put the game down because of how drawn out that "tutorial" level was on the spaceship. It was too short though.....I expected one more world.....but then I got to the final boss lol
+Kayspaify it's not entirely nostalgia, the ps3 games were trying for a different feel to the first four games and not everyone agreed with that feel. don't get me wrong I like all of the R&C games (except for all4one and qforce, haven't even tried secret agent clank yet) but I can see why people would have trouble with the big changes the newer games bought out. for one the future games enemies didn't feel as sci fi as the the original ones did and the same can be said about the music (mind you that was mainly due to David Bergeaud leaving after tools of destruction) case in point: listen to the music throughout the last level of R&C2 whilst also looking at the enemies and the surrounding area, now do the same with tools of destruction, the atmosphere in R&C2 is generally more colder and possibly even darker than tools of destruction. The future games final level designs were good but they didn't have the cold and sometimes eerie feeling the other ones did, I can't be the only one who found it a little weird seeing all of those massive dead robots that look like giant clank laid out at the end of R&C3, it was like looking at a plot twist that never happened.
Uh, i miss PS2 ratchet. All the new games seem to be taking the 'safe route' with the kid target audience. The original trilogy had stuff that little kids would enjoy, while also having lots of crude humor and unrelenting gameplay. Now, ratchet looks all 'cutesy pootesy' and the gameplay is much easier! Feel free to prove me wrong, though. It's just my opinion.
I think the style is generally the same just more detailed, I wouldn't say "cutesy pootesy" just shinier and more detailed. I honestly think the new ones were more challenging, I had a pretty hard time with tools of destruction, but didn't have much trouble with the originals. I will admit there isn't much crude humor anymore, but I don't really mind, still funny, I don't see this kid target audience, I personally think it's the same old thing, if anything a bit more mature, with less crude humor and more interesting stories.
Ehm, killing off major characters, fleshed out dramatic story lines, actual subtle and sometimes even political humor (Ex. "Emperor Tachyon is an equal opportunity oppressor") is not less mature than "look, plumbers crack." Also there were less linear level designs, allowing for exploration, making it less easy. And difficulty settings exist for a reason, which was a great addition, making them more challenging than the walkovers that were the originals (then again that might be because I know them by heart :p). So I wouldn't say the Future games were less mature at all, in fact they matured perfectly with their fandom in my opinion.
Mo Joe I feel sorry for your bigoted nostalgia mind who needs to whine about the tiniest little changes all the time. I grew up wth the originals too, you're full of shit.
RaC is one of my favorite series of all time! My top 10 RaC games: 1. Up your Arsenal 2. Tools of Destruction 3. Into the Nexus 4. Going Commando 5. RaC 6. A Crack in Time 7. Full Frontal Assault 8. All for one 9. Deadlocked 10. Quest for Booty
De Pieter CiT had so many bugs when I tried to play...and I didn no enjoy having to control the ship everytime I would go to a different planet. It gets really annoying after a while...but it is still a good game, just not one of my favorites...
Pedro Granja Maybe it hadn't been patched yet because I played it very late but without issues. And I liked the ship, but fast travel could have been helpful.
Awesome! I love Ratchet & Clank, has to be my favourite game series of all time. Really excellent video showing all the Ratchet & Clank games over time. :)
I don't know what some people are talking about for the PS3 Ratchet and Clank. I loved all the main games (PS2-PS3). They were all great. And I know the series will always be great, even more so on the PS4.
***** Well, just got into the nexus and used the code to play quest for booty, one of the best DLCs I have ever played! Will be getting Crack in Time tomorrow, can't wait!
***** Well, just played the first couple of hours of aCiT, it's pretty awesome, love the hoverboots, and space is beautiful, but I will say Ratchet looks kinda weird, not even in cutscenes, just in gameplay, idk maybe it's just me. Also I do kinda miss the original charm of the originals, which has been lost mainly here, but what it's replaced with is still awesome, just different, love it in a different way.
Started the series on Up Your Arsenal, continued the series on Tools of Destruction, favorite game was Crack in Time, love playing R&C on ps4! Awesome series overall, one of my all time favorites!
Raul Enriquez Sorry I'm currently doing only FFA for a few days because I won a lot of matches in a row and plan to go up the ranks. I can't tell you my PSN but at the moment I write this comment I'm in the weekly top 10 worldwide, I do mostly 2vs2. If you play with me I'll tell you that I'm the guy from the RUclips comments ;).
I have FFA too but I can assure you that I am not in the top 10 ._. Or 100 for that matter lol its been a while but last time I checked I think I was an agorian rank. There aren't that many ppl on FFA either so ill hop on and see if I can find you though!
Raul Enriquez Yeah, but not in the next 12 hours, I'm from Europe and it's already night ;). And I was Agorian when I started today too, I just had some good matches and now I'm a lombax with 500 points. And overall I'm not even in the top 500 so there is no reason for you to be ashamed ;).
I feel like when the titles stopped being innuendos it removed what kept the series unique. The game was designed to be playable by kids, but also enjoyed by adults. It essentially felt like the game was vulgar and violent without actually being vulgar and violent. I don't own the never ones so I have only played and seen bits, but it seems like Ratchet no longer is this wisecracking and sarcastic character, there was always the side of Ratchet who was more like Qwark, removing that he just seems like the goody two shoes Disney protagonist.
+Apples Malus Faulty correlation. The working titles were all innuendos like they used to be (Clock Blockers, Four Play/Friends with Benefits, Into the Nether Regions) but they just aren't allowed to keep them as often. The older games were censored the same way in Europe back in the day.
I couldn't have said it better. the game is more childish, less in depth on the upgrade system, and overall just feel like they are aimed at a younger audience
+Apples Malus I recently played Into the Nexus and I have to say it still has the trademark "rude humor". Sure maybe the title doesn't have a sleazy play on words but the humor overall is still pretty edgy for an "E" rated game and had me actually laughing out loud at the "not for kids" jokes and most jokes and gags in general.
Dean444ful Have you played all the new ones? I'd be willing to give Into the Nexus a change. I played a Crack in Time and was appalled by how much it seemed like a Skylanders-Disney type game. Really wasn't into it.
When Ratchet got shot and killed by General Alister Azimuth in A Crack In Time, my heart legit dropped to the floor and I thought the series was over. I actually had to stop playing because I thought I was going to cry.
I loved the Ratchet and Clank series when I was younger, but I ended up with an Xbox 360 instead of a PS3 back in the day. I now own a PS3 though, are the games still good guys? The last one I played was Deadlocked.
My favorite weapon of the entire series was the Infector from up your arsenal because i have always loved controlling or confusing the enemy. Metal Arms: glitch in the system had the tether gun which let you take control of some enemy robots, and that is what got me hooked.
PS3s are getting cheaper now that the PS4 is out. You ought to look into it, plus people may want to get rid of there's and it's really not an old console.
Being a big fan of the R&C games, I'd have to say Deadlocked was my favourite, but to pass up playing size matters, secret agent clank and the quest for booty, those are the Black Sheepinators of the family. :P
If they would just remake "Ratchet: Deadlocked", they wouldn't need to change anything except for the visuals. They could keep all the audio too, it still sounds great.
***** Yeah, it's still on the PS Store for $9.99, and also: Q-Force? EDIT: In America, Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force is called Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault.
Great series. It's what introduced me to gaming back when I was five . this is the order I played them in .... Ratchet and clank 2007 Ratchet and clank 3 up your arsenal 2007 Ratchet and clank 2 going commando 2008 Ratchet and clank tools of destruction 2010 Ratchet and clank into the the future 2010 Secret agent clank 2011 This series is really close to my heart and I've made so many memories from them . This will always be one of the greatest game series to me along with elder scrolls and fallout. I love you insomniac😅
LimTindemann If you thought that was joke, then I beg of you, TRY SECRET AGENT CLANK. It's actually too much work to feel like a joke, more of hard poke in the arm to ratchet and clank games.
Daniel Mortensen the first three are 20$ full frontal assault comes with deadlocked from what I heard 15$? size matters is 10$ and agent clank is 20$, And no problem. :)
deadlocked and a crack in time were my all time favorites. i completely despised size matters and secret agent clank. I didnt even know quest for booty existed. the others just weren't of interest to me however i have played all of them except for quest for booty. full frontal assault was too short though.
i remember playing Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando so much, i hope to play it again soon. It was a great game and probably still is if i were to play it again
Future series were actually good, I really enjoyed them when I was 8 years old, but not it just started to bore me playing same games for hundredth time
What is this thing with some Ratchet & Clank "fans" saying that the PS3 games were bad? I grew up with the original trilogy and even I have to say that the PS3 games were better.
Kayspaify Not all the PS3 games were better and I don't think rejecting the new or just embracing everything is the right way to go. Nexus and All4One were disappointments, especially in terms of storytelling but the future series was great on all fronts besides difficulty. They weren't even close to the difficulty of the PS2 trilogy even on challenge mode, but still a very enjoyable play.
Lianna Persha Nexus was a very good game imo, it was just shorter than the Future trilogy but it also doesn't cost as much to buy. A4O and FFA were different and probably the worst Ratchet & Clank console games in singleplayer but they can be very enjoyable in if you play them online, Full Frontal Assault is even my favourite game to play online to be honest.
I dont like that Ratchet and Clank changed so drasticly after A crack in time came out, it all looks like a stupid Disney movie for kids. They´ll never beat the first 4 games on the PS2. The newer games dont even have a slightly as epic soundtrack as the old games had. It doesnt even has the old black humor from the old games. So sad ;_;
DarkLiteNoah Kid just leave you look 8, you wouldnt have any clue whatsoever about the original trilogy so please go comment on a minecraft video or something.
i can remember the glitch on up your arsenal when you unlock the mini turrents throw them in the trophie room against the wall jump in them and glitch to the insomniac games room :)
my favorite ratchet and clank games: 13: all 4 one 12: Qforce/FFA 11: Size matters 10: SA Clank 9: Into the nexus/nexus 8: Ratchet and Clank (PS4 version) 7: Quest for booty 6: Gladiator/Deadlocked 5: Tools of destruction 4: Ratchet and Clank (PS2/3 version) 3: Crack in time 2: Locked and loaded/going commando 1: Ratchet and clank 3/Up your arsenal
Clear noh going commando was my childhood loved it to the I've never got to finish the 100 rounds of gladiators so far I've done everything up to a crack in time and also doing challenge mode on each
Let's hope Insomniac puts all their experience, passion, knowledge and effort into the Rachet and Clank's 1 PS4 re-imagining, because thats a game I want to be blown away by again, just like when it first came to existence. And fingers crossed for the movie tie-in.
Ratchet & Clank is incredibly underrated. The series deserves way more success and exposure.
you have a very twisted definition of the word "underrated" if you think this franchise falls into that category
*coughcough* MOVIE
Yup, but now the fanbase is not too big, and stays loyal no matter what. The series are just not known because companies like EA, Activision and Blizzard.
RyuakiraX
Who pump out the same crap over and over. :D
Thebluehydra It is, it rarely gets mentioned by mainstream gaming media in relation to other games of it's genre like Mario or Crash Bandicoot although RC isn't worse (if we take metacritic seriously for a second, I personally think it's way better) and the sales aren't that big as well. Ratchet & Clank is underrated if we look at it this way, along with Jak and Daxter, Sly Cooper and Rayman.
I love the original trilogy but still have yet to play any on PS3 cause I never had one
What about crash bandicoot
Same. There's a new one incoming.
Ratchet and Clank 3 was the first one I ever played
EagleEyE0204 if you played them all by the original order you'd know that the third game had the best villain, the first one has the longest gameplay, the second one is basically an extension of the first one (it has lots of the weapons seen in the first game) and all the rest are kinda bad.... also the controls in the first game were amazing. at the time i played the first game i think i was like 7 years old, and it was so easy to use! playing other games was difficult because i got used to the controls of the first game. you basically had one free thumb because the camera moved by itself.
Comments Guy i dont remember using a lot of weapons during that fight though... i had all my weapons at max level though at that point i think... only need a few shots from that rifle and a few from the rocket launcher that shoots rockets that split to other rockets and thats it if i remember correctly...
EagleEyE0204 mine is ratchet and clank 1 xD
.. the second game in the ratchet and clank series was Ratchet and Clank 3 ... i think is Up your Arsenal
Same here.
NOSTALGIA HIT ME LIKE A FUCKING TRAIN.
U mean hit u like an oncoming train on the grind rails of Metropolis in ToD?
The ps2 Ratchet and Clanks were the best ones insomniac made. Anyone else agree?
I don't agree
+yoyoitsfatmanjoe I agree
Agreed
+yoyoitsfatmanjoe Agreed, i'll never forget that one moment in the first game though...
Ratchet: Hey look plumbers crack
Plumber:What?
Ratchet:Uhh, i said hey look plumbers back
Plumber:Okay Wise Guy
Yes
You know, everyone gives Link a reputation for smashing every damn pot there is but seriously though, the moment you put Ratchet near a few wooden boxes....
Bolts bolts bolts bolts bolts bolts bolts bolts bolts Bolts Bolts BOLTS BOLTS!
the sound is way nicer when you smash for bolts as opposed to pots
+Spearka there would be no crates in existence if he joined forces with crash bandicoot
+Spearka one wonders why the ratched and clank universe is full of wooden crates full of bolts
+Spearka I thought I was the only one who went crazy with the boxes...
i hate how since all 4 one came out they made ratchet look like a little kid :(
Yeah exactly, in a crack in time he actually looked mature and his body was proportioned properly. But then they made him shorter, his head bigger, and his arms skinnier. Ugh so dumb.
shesmine14 ikr tools of destruction and crack in time's models where fine why make ratchet sound the same but make him look 6 years old
Jordon Emanuel yeah my thoughts exactly. It's stupid, I'm sure they got rid of the subtle adult humor too. They already had to change the titles of the ps2 games cuz they were too suggestive.
shesmine14 all 4 one was originally Friends With Benefits
Jonathan Bailey yah I heard about that lmao XD
Aaahhh the Memories!
Comments Guy well there was online and there still is but not much people used it.
+PlayStation-Gamer 51 lol half of my childhood memories are being frusterated a quarter wonder and amazement and a quarter LANDSTALKER AHAHAH
Dragonbornf898 LOL
+Comments Guy I played all the ps2 series. GC and UYA are my major favorites, but I personally liked ACIT more than the first one and deadlocked
Comments Guy
Hmmm...as much as I liked those two, I'm kind of tired of people bashing on the future series. I enjoyed playing through a crack in time.
Wow.
+Surprise !! Size Matters, Tools for Destruction, Quest for Booty, Deadlocked...
Also the original title for "Into The Nexus" was going to be "Into The Nether Regions" lol
+Surprise !! And before a Crack In Time, the game was going to be called "Clock Blocked"
ratchet and clank gladiator why name is changed to deadlocked?
+battlefield hardline clips the names got censored in everywhere other than america
Childhood restored, thanks for the video
3:01 That sound, do you remember it? OMG, right in the feels...
Ratchet and Clank 2: Locked and Loaded (Going Commando in the US) is my favourite game of all time.
My....
Childhood right here....
Nostalgia:') The Ratchet and Clank games are together with the Jak, Sly Cooper and Legend of Zelda games my childhood. This was a part of my childhood in video form. I love Jax and Daxter. 1,2,3 they were all god.
command and conquer (PS1) **-**
you forgot star wars battlefront but yeah PS2 games was the best games EVER
Prince of Persia 1 came out in 1989. You meant to say sands of times. You're also missing the 3 kingdom hearts games that came out for the ps2.
You forgot tales of the abyss and some of the dynasty warrior games. Not to mention disgaea, dark cloud 2, and the first 2 kingdom hearts.
I actually find the newer Ratchet & Clank games better. All of them are awesome though.
i loved replaying tools of destruction over and over
what bank: I'm with ya dude
It's the HD versions of the games ?
TheIeven have you noticed that from the helmet, isn't it? ahahahah
+Tofig Shamkhalov how did u get the HD versions?
Okay thanks!
the only one I have out of all if these is ratchet and clank size matters on the psp
+Richard Avalos i have all ov them exept the new won
A Crack in Time will always be my favourite Ratchet and Clank
Anyone else remember how Full Frontal Assault kinda just "existed" and was never really announced, and stayed purchasable for like a month? :^)
no
+Cobalt1140 theyre implying that it was a terrible game. Which is true
any r&c is fine by me.
Are you talking about "Ratchet & Clank: QForce"? Just heard about it; I've never actually seen it in stores here in Italy.
i'm portuguese And are you talking about r&c Q Force? Because i have it But ONLY Played it 1 time.
Such an iconic series. One of the best series ever, and one of the all time best mascots ever. Legendary games.
Going Commando and Tools of Destruction are easily my two favorites. I'm still waiting for another long Ratchet and Clank game with the same character designs as the ones in Crack in Time/Tools of Destruction.

All the people who criticise the newer Ratchet & Clank games either haven't played them or are totally out of their mind.
Kayspaify It's just the nostalgia. You'll always get that from some people.
Tea Ninja Yeah, I forgot to mention nostalgia for whatever reason. That also happens to me because I grew up with the original games, but still, I find the newer ones at least as good.

Mo Joe I feel sorry for your bigoted nostalgia mind who needs to whine about the tiniest little changes all the time. I grew up wth the originals too, you're full of shit.
looking back at this list make me miss my younger days
1,2 and 3 are the best !
Isn't deadlocked the same as ratchet gladiator!? I played it myself
yep
XD
Joël Eskandar games are often branded differently in different countries
Yes I see now XD
PokèWarriorDave same with the second one i got the one that says locked and loaded
RaC is one of my favorite series of all time! My top 10 RaC games:
1. Up your Arsenal
2. Tools of Destruction
3. Into the Nexus
4. Going Commando
5. RaC
6. A Crack in Time
7. Full Frontal Assault
8. All for one
9. Deadlocked
10. Quest for Booty
Deadlocked below All 4 One? The rest is great, though I'd put Crack in Time much higher.
De Pieter CiT had so many bugs when I tried to play...and I didn no enjoy having to control the ship everytime I would go to a different planet. It gets really annoying after a while...but it is still a good game, just not one of my favorites...

Deadlocked/Gladiator should be above All 4 One and Full Frontal Assalut/Q Force. And maybe Quest for Booty too.
My opinion people...my opinion...cool?!
The PS2 memories...
I remember completing Deadlocked and Up Your Arsenal at least 15 times each xD
Waiting for the ps4 reboot.... O my god I can't wait :)
IKR, I was born in 2002 so I know this franchise, I can't wait
bob manperson you were barely 5 when the future series was released wtf l0l
We'll you can say it's both ;)
Goldmario5™ - Currently On Hiatus man you are a dumb one aren't you :>
Awesome! I love Ratchet & Clank, has to be my favourite game series of all time. Really excellent video showing all the Ratchet & Clank games over time. :)
I know and it doesn't get enough credit
In "Size Matters" the graffics look worse than "Deadlocked" to me.
Size matters was on psp.
Size Matters wasn't made by Insomniac Games, it was made by High Impact Games.
Samvyx Well... I consider Secret Agent Clank the best one in the series.
Esu-kun S.U. the result of porting to PSP
Esu-kun S.U. Size Matters and Secret Agent Clank were PSP games.
Up Your Arsenal is the best in the franchise, and is also one of my favorite platformers.
I don't know what some people are talking about for the PS3 Ratchet and Clank. I loved all the main games (PS2-PS3). They were all great.
And I know the series will always be great, even more so on the PS4.
I'm gonna play a crack in time and nexus in a few days, can't wait, I'll be able to finally give my opinion on them!
AMEN! The PS3 games were amazing, a step up from the already awesome PS2 games. I have every game in the franchise, love them all.
Started the series on Up Your Arsenal, continued the series on Tools of Destruction, favorite game was Crack in Time, love playing R&C on ps4! Awesome series overall, one of my all time favorites!
I am the only person who like Ratchet & Clank:Size Matters?
It was a good game BUT not as good as the rest of the games... Except for All 4 One and Full Frontal Shit :p
Daxtery Toon (Kid) Nope. I also like Secret Agent Clank.
Ethan Edwards Oh yeah that game was fun.
Daxtery Toon yes
I loved that game I still have it on my psp
The sounds! So amazing!
ratchet and clank future crack in time is my most favorite ratchet game ever
I loved Size Matters
size matters is ok but not as good as crack in time
i like going commando more
crack in time is absolutely the best since up your arsenal.
As anyone's game file corrupted forever when ever you beat the Valkyries in space? like the ship just stood there with no health.
The nostalgia... burns my heart
What's your favorite Ratchet & Clank game? Mine's Up Your Arsenal.
Tools of Destruction, but I mostly play All 4 One and Full Frontal Assault because the multiplayer is incredibly fun for me.
+Kayspaify add me on ps3! All4one players are hard to come by. Psn: moonfan242
Ratchet & Clank: Size Matters i love this
the ps4 version coming out looks amazing.
+Ethan Edwards wait theres a ps4 version?!? GONNA NEED 40$
@MO Shut up with your nostalgia.
@MO I ain't triggered bud.
This didn’t age well
Got it for free on ps store on my ps5, I'm waiting for rift apart
Love these! Thanks for putting together :)
I'VE been playing this game when i was 6 now im 14
Now you 18
Time to move out buddy
now your 20
@@dragonteearts i am 20 now and still playing this series! :)
Damn ... ur outro pic at the end gave chills down my spine xD
nice vid man :)
Bowl of Petunias
So the fact that they aren't able to keep the titles anywhere could still suggest that they are being held back by their publisher.
Dean444ful
Have you played all the new ones?
I bought the collection remodel for PS3 in HD has the first three classics and they added trophies. It's awesome.
This video is very well put together. Nice editing too and really well picked out bits from each game. Good job Tofig Shamkhalov!
Up your aresenal is the best. Damn I miss being a kid.
2 was better o_o
yeah going commando is best and nostalgic game
Yeah the 3rd is the best for sure!
i prefer up your arsenal any day
They really need to bring back David Bergeaud to compose. The games after TOD never felt like true Ratchet and Clank games for that specific reason.
Am I still the only one who likes tools of destruction the best?
Yes.
Although it is a close second for me. However nothing beats Up Your Arsenal (my opinion)
It was a second behind A Crack In Time, and it was just in front of a tie between Going Commando and UYA
Nope, that game is awesome without a doubt! Tools Of Destruction was quite awesome and it had a great hook and told the story very well.
Phew, I almostt thought I was the only one who saw that :)
It's fighting in my top 3.
My favorite weapon of the entire series was the Infector from up your arsenal because i have always loved controlling or confusing the enemy. Metal Arms: glitch in the system had the tether gun which let you take control of some enemy robots, and that is what got me hooked.
Agh! I want to play R&C but I don't have a PS2/3 and the emulator version is just too slow!
I remember playing it on my now-broken PS2!
PS3s are getting cheaper now that the PS4 is out. You ought to look into it, plus people may want to get rid of there's and it's really not an old console.
Lianna Persha it's still too expensive for me haha, i should get a job >.>
Played the original 4 on my ps2 console and now i continue following the series in the next generations. It's been a wonderful journey thus far.
nostalgia...
I wouldn't even mind if Insomniac remastered the Future series: Tools of Destruction, Quest for Booty, A Crack in Time.
Well there was a limited edition remaster for ps3
***** Dude, I played the shit out of that. Plus, it wasn't limited edition.
KronoTek wasn't it? I only got it as a sorry for the vita version of qforce being delayed
Ratchet and clank 2007
Ratchet and clank 3 up your arsenal 2007
Ratchet and clank 2 going commando 2008
Ratchet and clank tools of destruction 2010
Ratchet and clank into the the future 2010
Secret agent clank 2011
This series is really close to my heart and I've made so many memories from them .
This will always be one of the greatest game series to me along with elder scrolls and fallout. I love you insomniac😅
anyone remember angela cross…justme…kay
she ded m8
Anyone remember me?
+Courtney Gears you were One of my favorite bosses.
holy shit my dear friend thats what i wanna see. my first game ever. On Christmas 2002 or 2003 holy shit ty for this upload
Size Matters is a Joke of a R&C game... i just threw it away after like 30 mins of playing
LimTindemann (blows raspberry) It's a good game. You obviously Haven't played through the 3rd level.
LimTindemann If you thought that was joke, then I beg of you, TRY SECRET AGENT CLANK. It's actually too much work to feel like a joke, more of hard poke in the arm to ratchet and clank games.
the memories i gotta have these games again and a ps2
all old ones are in vita.
Thank you :) I gotta get an vita then :D
Daniel Mortensen the first three are 20$ full frontal assault comes with deadlocked from what I heard 15$? size matters is 10$ and agent clank is 20$, And no problem. :)
*Ratchet and Clank A Crack in Time*
Is the best! I played all since I'm a huge fan.
This one's most fun.
thank you very much ! ,thanks to you I could remember of my favorite games
deadlocked and a crack in time were my all time favorites. i completely despised size matters and secret agent clank. I didnt even know quest for booty existed. the others just weren't of interest to me however i have played all of them except for quest for booty. full frontal assault was too short though.
no in to the nexus was the short one.
Play up your arsenal and Ratchet and clank 2.
i have. i have played all of the games.
Those 2 really were only good if you had a PSP.
i loved secret agent clank
was a fun game
Watching this brings back sooooo many memories
Oh erm......... all for 1..... we dont speak of it anymore..... we try to forget.....
+Nial Sum ^^^ Basically...
+Nial Sum The first Ratchet and Clank game was the best one!
MtnDrew525 Ik great story, characters and challenging bosses
I play All 4 one with my young kids all the time. Its so much fun!!
Pedro Granja i don't have kids xD...., i just sat alone thinking about my life choices..... btw i hope you put dibs on ratchet
Aahh „size matters“. The nostalgia is real, it was one of my very first games I ever played, never forget this ♥️
"all footage was captured with a potato"
i remember playing Ratchet and Clank: Going Commando so much, i hope to play it again soon. It was a great game and probably still is if i were to play it again
Good old Ratchet only on PS2 .. PS3 Ratchet suck so much .. Story su ck , Ratchet looks like a typical kids cartoon rat .
ONLY PS2 TRILOGY !
Kayspaify
Not all the PS3 games were better and I don't think rejecting the new or just embracing everything is the right way to go.
Yeh In the new games ratchet looks cute... Makes me wanna shoot myself
Played the 1st 4 games tons as a kid, tried a little of size matters a few years later too. Still one of my favorite game series
best is ratchet and clank 3 and ratchet and clank deadlocked
tru shit i finish deadlocked on my ps2 got literally everything all the cards all the characters all the cheats
gladiator why the name changed
battlefield hardline clips idk xD
+battlefield hardline clips dead lock was the name in usa but gladiator in other countries
+ethan Halstead why
i grew up with this game and it shaped me. i picked it up one day in costco and was hooked
I dont like that Ratchet and Clank changed so drasticly after A crack in time came out, it all looks like a stupid Disney movie for kids. They´ll never beat the first 4 games on the PS2. The newer games dont even have a slightly as epic soundtrack as the old games had. It doesnt even has the old black humor from the old games. So sad ;_;
A KEDVENCEM!!! ezért a sorozatért vettem meg mindegyik konzolgépet!!!!!! tetszik ez a válogatás!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Size matters was the worst.
+Pericles Viglis Yeah, definitely.
we don't speak of that discusting creature anymore those days are over
i loved it on my psp...
Hey it was actually fun for a psp game!
And too short. Agent Clank was better. Short story as well. I expected more from both.
Ratchet and Clank ps4 Re-imagining Hype :D
tools of destructions and crack in time are soooo good
his is sooo stupid now and all for one was a complete fail
and "into the nexus" sucks becuase they killed off crunk and zepher
DarkLiteNoah Kid just leave you look 8, you wouldnt have any clue whatsoever about the original trilogy so please go comment on a minecraft video or something.
Never got around to playing these as a kid, wish I woulda!
I was hoping for an actual documentary xD
But this is also interesting and fun to watch
I have every single rachet and clank game
this will always remain one of the best games
2:53 Oh how I remember the inspector robot who said "LOL" after you take him with the tractor beam...
The box smashing in Crack in Time is the most satisfying out of all the games.
going commando was my favorite
My favourite RC Game was definetly Going Commando.....so beautiful memories. But I loved Deadlocked too :D
i can remember the glitch on up your arsenal when you unlock the mini turrents throw them in the trophie room against the wall jump in them and glitch to the insomniac games room :)
I loved this game series so much. I had all of them!!!
But I had the one's on ps2. They were still awsome though.
I use to love this game and I still do this brings back good times
Brings back so many memories :)
I had no idea there were sooooooo many games!! I've been missing out! I only have the first 3... Now I know what to save up for.
Size matters was the first game I've ever played on my PSP. (2008)
Memories...
my favorite ratchet and clank games:
13: all 4 one
12: Qforce/FFA
11: Size matters
10: SA Clank
9: Into the nexus/nexus
8: Ratchet and Clank (PS4 version)
7: Quest for booty
6: Gladiator/Deadlocked
5: Tools of destruction
4: Ratchet and Clank (PS2/3 version)
3: Crack in time
2: Locked and loaded/going commando
1: Ratchet and clank 3/Up your arsenal
whats that music called from Ratchet and Clank 3: Up your Arsenal 03:41-04:19
none of those games can compare with rachtet and clank 3
Clear noh going commando was my childhood loved it to the I've never got to finish the 100 rounds of gladiators so far I've done everything up to a crack in time and also doing challenge mode on each
Let's hope Insomniac puts all their experience, passion, knowledge and effort into the Rachet and Clank's 1 PS4 re-imagining, because thats a game I want to be blown away by again, just like when it first came to existence. And fingers crossed for the movie tie-in.
