@@BusterrKeaton and Blonde was accurate???? The book the movie was based on is a fictionalized account of Marilyn’s life. It doesn’t add anything new in the narrative except she was exploited. The director could have reframed the narrative to a feminist-girly-girl point of view but he didnt bc he had a hard-on for sadism.
This is absolutely beautiful. I replaying back again and again. The different contrast in emotions. From rage, despair, melancholy. How she uses her body to be loved and in search of love

its gviing cvnty with daddy issues + me at 3 am having a breakdown but trying to look cute at the same time ,,,I love it also like Is ana de armas even real human ?? why is she so perfect 😭😭😭😭😭
It is society that is broken. We have been driven apart by accelerating technological change and economic specialisation. Relationships, families, communities, all rent asunder by the necessity to go where the work is, to hustle, to take advantage of human biases and appetites for financial gain, unchecked by all that once bound us together. Finding one person you can always trust is the ultimate act of rebellion against all this.
No cause I think some people do forget some of the points of this movie. Although I personally didn't like the movie myself because I saw it as quite exploiting, this was based on a book that is partially fiction. Not all events in this movie were true, only a few. I think the book was kind of inspired by Marilyn's life so they based it on her but added fictional events for story line and interest. But, I do also know that these reasons don't make up for the fact that they also do portray Marilyn as a sexual figure who we pity over. And it also doesn't make up for the director who is disgusting and his views on this are mad. The actors and actresses did an amazing job at acting especially Anna de Armas. The scripts were just written appallingly. But my point is that quite a lot of this is fiction so in a way, it's just a story. But it also doesn't make up the fact it is quite disgusting to portray a human being, let alone a big hollywood influence and legend, as a sexual object. But we shouldn't hate on the actors or anything (as I have seen some people do) because of it.
I watched the blonde and realised if that was how the story was with Monroe then I guess she contributed to her destruction, you don't trust anyone in the industry, and sometimes it good to heed to advice and identify a cycle and desist from it
thank you 💜 ppl hated it because they added unnecessary scenes that marilyn never experienced or did .. so i can see why they're mad and it's v understandable x
The movie basically relies on violence and SA to slander and objectify Marilyn Monroe. The director even said he has never watched a single Marilyn Monroe movie which is pretty clear with how it’s presented.
@@helterskelterxothat’s the point the, the whole movie is a symbol of how her experience actually was. The same way the movie “Spencer” does. It just shows aspects of her life. The over exaggeration of being used by men, the exaggeration of her innocence being exploited, and her hopping from house to house as a child. Or how people tormented her no matter where she went by paparazzi and the abuse that followed. The whole movie is symbolic just like the movie Spencer added scenes that never happened but showed how her life was exploited.
@@Sswat19100 they made it seem as if she was crazy and that she hated fame, she did not. this movie was based on a book that is a work of fiction, not a biography, it just uses marilyns name. the entire movie is fiction.
What a gorgeous film, what a beautifully tragic polarizing tale that Marilyn Monroe was a complete façade, an incredible mystery of a human being. A Beautiful fucked up lie.
