I backed the same i7 bundle and overall I'm happy with the power and features of the device. However, speaking on build quality, my screen hinge covers are lifting up and there is no apparent mechanical function keeping them down, maybe only adhesive. The rest of the chassis feels solid. I had a Lenovo x12 detachable which I sold after receiving this device. The build quality on the lenovo x12 blows the pocket 3 out of the water.

I searched for reviews because I had been unable to decide between an older ThinkPad X13 Yoga or GPD Pocket 3 for my secondary PC.
I have been thinking about getting the latter because it'd be easier for me to use on public buses and trains, especially when they'd be crowded, and it would let me access the full desktop version of Evernote with multi-window support and type using a physical keyboard, however I had to also check reviews on RUclips to help me get an idea of the size as I think the keyboard would be too big for thumb typing.
At this point, based on this and other reviews, I'd probably wait for a newer model.

Thanks for the vid 👍 Which method of installation did you use to get Windows 11 onto it? (using official Microsoft Win 11 image / or using GPD's Win11 image / or upgrading from Win 10) - because if its giving you good battery life on Win 11 I will probably do the same method as you. Also which screen protector did you get?

i reinstalled win10 via gpd installer and then installed win11 via iso and usb from microsoft since i wanted to dual boot them both. i then used the gpd driver package to install drivers for win11

Hi, what are your thoughts on the hinge mechanism, is it level? Also does the fan run when it's switched off and charging like the P1?

the back hdmi and usb-c port is for video in and ability to use laptop keyboard to whatever is connected. ie the KVM module. one of the unique selling points is that you can use it to connect a server or desktop pc or anything with hdmi out to.
