Yea, you can NOT find RJ guitars stateside anymore. Amazon hasn't had any since before the video, and the only placebo can find 'em is a sketchy Philippines version of alibaba.
Not sure an Eastman should be compared to a USA standard Gibson. I have an SB59, and the combination of uniform quality, ebony where Gibson uses plastic (truss rod cover) or rosewood (fret board), Lollar or Seymour pickups vs Gibson, weight reliably south of 9 lbs, and overall fit and finish suggests to me a custom shop R9 as a comparison instead.

I played the gibson.....and thought it FELT cheap....anyone else think the same thing?
