"My cat spilled a cup of tea." Why am I picturing a cat having tea with you with her own saucer and teacup? Loved watching this video of your declutter. I'd love to see the decks you do have and use if you'd like to do a show and tell.
Omg your cat tea party image is infinitely cuter than what actually happened which was just her casually sashaying across a table she knew she wasn’t supposed to be on and leaving CATASTROPHE AND DESTRUCTION in her wake 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I’ve been intending for ages to do an updated deck collection show and tell and I desperately need to get on that!!!
Oh I love the artwork in the Tarot of Mystical Moments, but I was never really attracted to the oracle, so I get you. The Connected & Free was a sssshooock! but I understand it. The Naked Heart, another shocker; and you spoke so fondly of it, it was kinda sad listening to it! Thanks for sharing 💛
I have a lot of the same decks. It's definitely time now for me to do exactly the same. I need to go through my decks and decide what needs to go. Thanks for sharing! Love your channel.
On one hand, I'm a little surprised at a couple of your choices (e.g., Naked Heart!). On the other hand, I'm not surprised because I've certainly been through the same thing with decks that I thought would stay for the long haul!
I really couldn’t believe I was even contemplating getting rid of the Naked Heart but I’m so weirdly at peace about it! We had a good run but no part of me feels inclined to pick it up anymore 🤷♀️🥲
Oh, Sarah, that was so entertaining!!!! I loved your off the cuff comments and phrases!!! I'm not sure what it is about Oracle of Mystical Moments vs the Tarot, but I was never interested in the oracle and when the Tarot deck came out I never thought I would be interested in it. But ! I love it!!! Why the tarot and the not oracle???? Not sure. I'm so fascinated that you would release the Gaian and keep the Herbcrafter. I am the total opposite even though I am an herbalist. I simply adore the Gaian, it is almost always in my top five favs.
Thanks so much Liz!!! 💖💖💖💖 Seriously the Oracle of Mystical Moments just never read easily for me whereas the tarot was one of the quickest bonds I’ve ever formed with a deck…it just instantly spoke to me so clearly. And yeah for some reason I love working with the Herbcrafters even though I am not an herbalist and am in fact a certified black thumb…maybe because it gives me an opportunity to experience/understand plant energies that I am not normally very connected to? Whereas the Gaian is such a beautiful and well-done deck, yet I just didn’t really have an unfilled niche for it to fit into. 🤷♀️
My favorite affirmation-style deck is Believe in Your Own Magic by Amanda Lovelace 😊. I really like the magical themes and body-positive imagery in it.
@@SunsetBoughTarot Oh yes! Great deck. Did you see that Amanda Lovelace is coming out with a tarot deck! ((Cozy Witch Tarot) Have mine on pre-order from Amazon but it won't be until next year. Excited about that one. Thanks for the answer!
If you still have your glossy Prisma visions, could you do a comparison video of the glossy vs matte decks? I am trying to decide if I would be happier replacing my glossy one too.
I have the Cosma Visions (which is matte) and wish it came in glossy, because the artwork doesn't pop out half as well. If you take photos for clients, matte is easier, but for sheer reading joy, I adore the glossyness.
Sure! I am very bothered by the “Elder” card which depicts an Aboriginal Australian man with the message “move beyond ancestral patterns”-I just think that message is in super poor taste on that image considering that Aboriginal ancestral patterns and traditions have in fact been purposefully, systematically suppressed and exterminated. I am also quite annoyed by the “Star Ancestor” card which not-so-subtly implies that aliens built the Egyptian pyramids. More recently I’ve become aware that folks from other indigenous traditions have raised concerns about some of their symbols being used incorrectly and out of context. So it’s just not a deck I like using anymore.
@@SunsetBoughTarot Thank you so much. I appreciate your concerns and I value a lot your socio-political awareness, so it was important to me to know. This deck has been on and off my list for some time but I never give it a chance. The aboriginal card being a major factor, but I didn't know about the alien card! And if people's ancestry are inaccurate or offended by the lack of research, then I guess I am scratching it out of my list forever. Thank you so much for sharing 🥰
@@PrinceXSuperstar absolutely!!! I’m so glad it was helpful. And of course no judgment on anyone who uses the deck as many of the cards do contain some beautiful artwork and messages…for me it just got to the point that the cons outweighed the pros. 😊💖
Ooo a brutal declutter. The Tarot of the Abyss reminds me so much of the Anne Bishop Black Jewels witchy series. I have to remind myself my tastes change as time goes on, also creator foolishness is annoying.
Thanks Jo! It really is true that tastes change over time and sometimes you just fall out of love with something that you used to be really attached to, and that’s normal!
"I don't need to be complete-ist with a particular artist's work." I need to remember this one occasionally! This is quite the declutter!
Seriously I have a terrible habit of needing “a complete set” and…no, self. No you do not 🤣

Thank you so much for your kind words about my channel!! 💖💖💖💖 A good declutter can feel so liberating when you’re ready for it 😊🧹
Loved listening to this while cleaning and sorting through bits. It’s always interesting to me what leaves, the reasons why and just hanging out 🥰
So glad you enjoyed listening and hanging out Tee!! 🥰💖

Love this video such a reminder that perhaps I should do a clear out
If you have decks you aren’t using it can feel really good to move them along to good homes! 💖
Lots of great decks.
Thanks for watching Rachele!
Tempted on a few of these!
😈😆

I will definitely consider it! I might just throw up a quick short comparing them since it’s probably not necessary to go thru every card. 😊
@@SunsetBoughTarot That would be perfect! I just want to see some cards side by side.
Hi Sarah!
Would you mind sharing with us what aspects of the Angels and Ancestors oracle are making you uncomfortable? Thank you in advance. 🥰
