- We have discovered the BEST tool for tight spaces!
We use the Bostitch Palm Nailer in all our tiny home and container home projects. Our bulky framing nailer can't always get in 6 inches of space. We needed a tool that could efficiently get the job done, you know without leaving us wanting to pull our hair out. This compact tool is a BOSS.
Just an FYI this video IS NOT sponsored. We purchased this tool for our business and thought others may find it useful.

Just another excellent recommendation to help others with their build experience. Thanks ~ even looks easy enough for me to use!
This little guys is a must have!! Those loft spaces are sooooo small and can it be a challenge to fit our big bulky tools up there. This little palm nailer has saved us many tiny home building tantrums ;)
Good job! Great to see you and hear you at the same time!
Thank you for watching!! Means a ton.
Good video. I love ❤ my nail guns but I think I've got to have one of these 😊
Took forever for you to explain it but that thing is cool as hell
We picked one up, ohh judging by the blood blister under my thumbnail, we must've got ours about 3 months ago now. Such a time and finger saver. I sure don't miss doing hangers and clips by hand!
there are brushless versions...just bought one for nailing up boxes as an electrician...we all nearly abandoned our hammers this week for some of these lol it saves boxes and wrists SO MUCH
Harbor freight nailer has a magnet, to hold nails.
You really dont need the pliers, even if the nailer does hit your fingers it doesn't hurt provided you back off immediately. These are superb tools. Almost no vibration at all is transmitted to the user, they work well on a standard 24 litre compressor at about 80-90psi. I would recommend holding the nail to the surface wherever possible, especially with shorter nails, it helps accuracy a lot. Let it hit the nail twice, then remove your hand once you've established the correct direction. You apply only minimal pressure. The thing to avoid is applying back pressure to the nailer as it will activate. An hours practice and it's childsplay, honestly. I'm no pro and I can do between 300 and 500 nails an hour with this thing, on joist hangers.
great content! love it!
Amit Dadlaney thank you sir!!
Added to the wish list!
The tiny home movement is so amazing! Glad you are here with us:)
Get yourself a joist nailer, its the same palm nailer but with a magazine like a nail gun, just learned about them.
Thanks
You are welcome!
What compressor do you use plz
You guys!! was it too cringy? LOL we are hoping to get you all the info you need. What are your thoughts with our first video?
Demonstrate first off, in the first shot. Then talk after.
@@JamieSteam thanks for watching.
I thought it was perfect, well explained, clear, factual
Nice, though I wonder if 10 drops of oil is excessive.
Seemed to work well ❤️
It is. 3 suffices.
Yes, I was thinking the same. All my air tool instructions recommend 4 to 5 drops of oil and say not to use more. Don't know why though
How to change the nose
Bought two of these. Each one leaked air immediately when I turned them on
Same here; I have never used one so I don’t know if it’s me or the nailer. Just blows air constantly our the top.
Same. Two different brands. Are we missing/overlooking something?
I bought a cheaper one and it worked fine. I think this brand may have a massive recall on it's hands.
Would this work for 4 inch nails for decking joists.
He commented that longer nails bend easily, if you hold the nail with a flat jaw electrician’s pliers it will help you hold the nails straight while you drive them in, so my answer would be yes with a little extra help.
@@c50ge Thanks... See that now..
What is the maximum size head of nail you can use?
I was wondering that too because I know the RIGID will fit a roofing nail head. That's what I'm looking for in this nailer
@@rickvinqvist3250 Yeah that's what I need it for also.
When you set the strength and push the button it hammers the nail down, is there a tool like this where you can set it to only 1 Hit, with a lot of power?
I need a tool like that, not to hit a nail 10 times but to hit 1 thing one time only.
Taking a chance asking here but I’ve been searching for a long time with an idea I got.
A hammer
a nailgun does exactly that
@@Shadow0fd3ath24 I dont want to hammer a nail in, I would want the "nail" to come out, punch a hole in something and go back in the gun.
Over and over in stainless steel "things".
Check this... Freeman PSSCP Pneumatic 3" Single Pin Concrete Nailer (I have used standard wood nails but DON'T do that "ONLY I AM ALLOWED TO DO STUPID" and the manual also says not to) FYI no magazine you have to load 1 nail at a time. Check out Chris's video titled : "A Felon Legal Concrete Nailer" link : ruclips.net/video/5UlUh2CN8Tc/видео.html
I guess I don’t understand, are you saying you can’t angle the nail gun into the space?
Tight spaces when building tiny homes:)
Palm nailers suck. I tried nailing my palm and it really hurts 😬
😂
10-20 drops guys... make sure to "sneeze" the air tool oil all over the wood you're nailing into!👍🏽👍🏽😬🤭🤦♂️🙄🤣
😂😂🤦♀️🤦♀️
@@FarOutTinyHomes maybe 2-3
Couple more if it's brand new and not pre oiled from factory. I did enjoy your video. Was informative, if I hadn't already had plenty of framing/pneumatic tool experience, I definitely would have learned from your tutorial😁👍🏼👍🏼
@@andrewsinfellow9100 thanks for the love and the comedy!
Dang thats loud....
I prefer videos at less than 5 minutes long....just an fyi...looks like excellent content tho.
Hi Drew! Thanks so much for your feedback. We will definitely take that into consideration as we create:)
