Thanks! I hope you continue to put out this great content, Colin!
Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!!!
if NVDA is the brains of AI, then TSMC is the heart
Well said
Would that make smci the skeletal system?
and intel is the appendix
Very True.
But... They are both over evaluated.
These two stock can crash anytime just like the many stocks during the 1929 stock market.
Seeing TSMC making progress in Arizona is big thing, for a monopoly high end chip makers, if the geopolitical concerns can be eased, this could be the best company in the world to invest in
Balance sheet is insane
"if the geopolitical concerns can be eased" - "if Hawaii can declare independence from US"

It’s the main thing holding me back from full-confidence in TSMC
Very informative…very interesting….always nice to hear more!
Started a position last Tuesday with a couple of shares at $200. Didn’t expect to be this green this fast. Will buy more on pullbacks.
There is every second day at Bloomberg some dude saying is Nvidias demand this and that just speculation without proof and then stock does these moronic moves. Some people are shorting it heavily like all semi space. I dont know is it just me but this NVIDIAs stock seem to have some manipulation specially these down turns.
New Format is great!👍
And you Colin are the Michael Jordan of smart investing
High praise! Thank you!!
Very nicely laid out!
Good luck in the NBA next year Colin 😂 thank you for the info. 👍

Would like to see a DCF/Valuation segment to these videos, like your technical analysis segment of the FAANG recap show. Looking forward to your Recap show video!!
yay tsm! 🇹🇼🇺🇸📈
I was looking forward to this video! Thanks Colin!!
Is TSMC a stock to take profits and run,
or hold long-term?
Or both?
When was this recorded since everywhere I look TSM has been at $1T market cap for weeks now?
Time to buy more STRL too.
wow, best analysis
great content. thank you
not a bubble, the earnings call say demand is still high
so NVDA to 500 is just a click bait. Great!!!

TSM has a valuation of 1.1t already.
>?? >At present, the most prudent consideration for everyone should be diversifying their income sources, ones not reliant on government support, particularly given the ongoing global economic challenges. This remains an opportune moment to explore investments in assets like digital currencies such as Bitcoin, Ethereum, and XRP. thanks to Gabella,Alice for her guidance in these fields, her proficiency is outstanding.
SHE'S MOSTLY ON TELEGRAMS APPS WITH THE BELOW NAME✅!!!!?👍🏿
@Melanieinvestment
I have said this over and over. If TSM was a 100% American company the price of each share would be over 350 dollars. Remember Buffet sold out of his position because he didn't trust the geopolitical issues with China. Big mistake because he did it when the stock was around 135 dollars per share.
Good points!
Thank you sir
Thank you!
So why TSM and NVDA price down compared to open price today? Any idea?
Your thoughts on Asml with earnings around the corner for that company if not in a position for Asml yet would you advise just hold off till next earnings or try to get in before. Basically missed my opportunity to buy at 650 being greedy for 600 and seeing how Asml has been moving lately it almost seems a breakneck move to the upside is more likely than another backtest for Asml at this point. Your thoughts? I’d be pissed buying Asml for something like 850/900 after earnings when it was 645/650 just a few months ago not gonna lie. But typically I try not to play earnings at the same time…
Good question. In general I just avoid buying stocks this close to earnings. I suppose with this one you can connect the dots, TSMC said they were going to fill the 2nd AZ fab this year and I believe one in Japan. I think it also more about your holding time. If it’s just short term, being accurate on price is highly important. If you’re going for 5+ year hold, I’d accumulate over a wider range of time, not be overly concerned about price level. Your instincts are good though, when a stock like this hits certain price levels it’s time to move and aggressively. However I think you can apply some nuance around longer term holds. Just for example I’ve added to AVGO,NVDA at normally levels I’m not buying but the fundamentals are so extraordinary that it’s too hard to ignore. Hope that helps.
@@TheInvestorChannel Thanks so much for such an in depth reply. That was awesome. And yes I have been thinking about re-evaluating my method for long term holds because I do find lately I've been missing a lot of opportunities due to being overly rigid on entry price. It's really good advice what you're saying there thank you for providing that.
@@Drizzydid Rumor though is that with the stock struggling back and forth, that they may announce a stock split at their next earnings announcement. So if you buy now, yo can get in on that IF it happens. Obviously with it won't increase what you invest if it splits, but it will give you a lot more shares and it will drop their stock price to something more reasonable, which could jumpstart people buying and pushing the stock price up. Then you'll love those extra shares 😁
@RichieCavsRetrocade I feel ASML isn't well known enough amongst the general public/common retail investor for a stock split to trigger a jumpstart of buying that's substantive. Stock like NVDA different story if NVDA split 10-1 again and was trading 13/14 dollars everybody and their grandmother would buy same as they did after the stock split last year. But ASML doesn't even register for 90% of the general populace (probably even more than 90%) if you were to mention the name of the company to the majority of people who say they invest in the stock market. Tbh a lot of ASML's own investors don't even know what ASML's four letter acronym even stands for. So I don't really think a stock split would move the needle for this company at all when it comes to buying/trading volume...but at this point I just need to get back into the stock sooner than later for sure.
@@Drizzydid Anyone who has been looking into AI companies is most definitely aware of them now, especially those who use paid subscription services like Motley Fool, etc.. as they made them a BUY a few years ago knowing how much they'd likely make during the AI boom. I am a literal nobody in the stock market as I took my 20 years of 401K savings and started learning the basics of the market in November due to the AI boom, so that I could look at what stocks to move my mutual fund money into. ASML was one of the first companies I saw listed with a full write-up on why they would be a big money maker come AI. So I've been watching them ever since 😁 Google 'ASML Stock Split' and see how many articles people are thinking they're next, from Motley Fool, to Yahoo Finance, to NASDAQ to Market Beat, etc.. They all have them most likely to split soon or in 2025, and I believe all of them mention it would be smart in order to get those who have been waiting to invest in them due to the upcoming AI boom, but couldn't afford it, so that it's an easier buy. I already bought a bunch of them around $700 and am holding for the long-term so doesn't matter to me, and you'll likely know better than me, I'm just telling ya what a newbie like me has come across the past few months 😁
the only pull back is a black swan
Bullish for ASML... with that CapEx
Yes, indeed
What happens if China attacks Taiwan ? Is that priced in? What happened to the 2 free HBM stocks?

I hope it is not a click bait 😅?
Never seen click bait on RUclips. But read my newsletter, I explain Nvidia Q3/Q4
@@TheInvestorChannel and get clickbaited once again. ppl aren't such fools, dear mr. youtuber.
On 11/6/2023 we alerted our paid subs to buy TSM at $92.50 and on 8/7/2023 buy Broadcom at $89 split adjusted. I don’t click bait, I make people rich.
@@TheInvestorChannelI’m definitely one of the ones that made money from you Colin! Trolls are going to troll and doubters will just doubt.
@WorldWideWeasel that’s amazing to hear and it makes me very happy! You deserve it!
My favorite company ever I have been married to it for a few years
TSMC wins in every scenario. Doesn't matter if its big tech, nvidia, amd, qualcomm etc. TSMC makes them all. Owning this company is such a no brainer. Oh and they raise the dividend frequently. The way I see it the huge capex costs make TSMC moat so big. No one can afford to keep up with them. Samsung is shutting down fabs/idleing lines, and Intel is a joke
Well said, indeed.
Not if China invades lol.
Lets just be real TW is not even close to MJ. MJ is the most iconic athlete of all time and Tiger was good in his prime.
folks, pls dont follow blindly
really NVDA to 500? Seems you are pumping your stock.
Nvidia could go to $0 and my kids eat.
@TheInvestorChannel nice reply 😅
Run when someone does this
I didn’t watch your video. I just bought a call on Nvidia after seeing the title.
😂 jk
Relax everyone
Bullish Intel 😅
as soon he said bubble.... no more of this chanel.
TSMC , hope you understand the geopolitical risks with this stock, ok own it for 3 years, suddenly its in the hands of China .....
People said the same thing when I recommended it at $89. News flash: if China invades Taiwan your entire portfolio would be crushed. In fact, the market might even be closed for a period of time.
Isn't that the entire reason why TSMC opened a plant in Japan, Arizona and Germany, to shield themselves if an invasion does occur?
Sell
Colin, making chips is rapidly becoming simple and cheaper. AI tools and new technologies make the process faster and more simple. Google, Tesla, Apple, etc, almost any big company, design and make their own chips. This is an industry that is eventually doomed to be a low-margin manufacturing. Intel is an example for that. How is AMD doing? How's Micron doing? Is like Pharma: occasionally someone come with a new innovative drug.
Always interesting and high quality! 🫡
