Great video Rob. Rob has been extremely helpful in guiding me on my new Garmin setup.

Not too long ago I watched a video that showed that the LV34 is louder in the water than the LV32. If you’re planning to fish a little closer to the your target then perhaps the LV32 might be a better choice.

This could be true, but I haven’t heard of it, or how we would know that it necessarily would impact fish.

@@InstinctBassin I quickly searched and could t find the video but they recorded the sound of both underwater and the different was significant. It’s a rapid clicking sound. I think it can affect fish if they have become wise to relating that sound to danger. I have seen some personal incidence of this as well since I fish from a kayak so being a little closer is necessary at times.

These Garmin videos have been extremely helpful! Any chance you could help me figure out how to remove the purple “ramp/pier/jetty” icon on the 73sv? They take up an annoying amount of space when looking at Active Captain maps on the app.

Wish I could help, but that’s not something I’ve messed with very much. I know there is a way to change the icon size in the 73sv. Maybe making it smaller will help.

Can an older 93sv be networked with a 126sv? I’m not sure if I missed that on the video?
I know you mentioned echomaps to gpsmaps. But I’m not sure if Ultra will also be a separate family?

Echomap's and Ultra's can be networked fully.

Yes they can. In fact I have that exact setup on my boat. At least if by “older” you mean an Echomap 93SV UHD.

@@InstinctBassin yeah I have the Echomap UHD 93SV.
