Hagler and Hearns was probably the greatest power punch round I’ve even seen.
Bro they were getting to it
Easily
What’s the time stamp?

@@vacious_gold1502😂
Hearns and Hagler trainers spending months planning tatics and strategies for the fight, for both fighters just thinking "fuck it, if he want to exchange we're gonna exchange" 3 seconds into the fight HAHAHAHA
Consider Hagler and Hearns camps for months beforehand talking about strategy and tactics, then both fighters get in there, forget that and proceed to knock lumps out of each other. THE ICONIC ROUND IN BOXING HISTORY 😊😊
True, Hearns' tactics were to try and get Hagler to concentrate on the left hand jab and work from there and Haglers to go to the body and work his way up. But both just threw that out the window and went for it after a few seconds.
I can not believe Marvin is no longer here RIP legend never dies
yeah cuz you knew em so well...
Diego Corales' heart and determination brings me to tears. What a warrior
RIP , he was just inducted into the HOF of boxing 🥊
Not sure how you wouldn't include any of the many insane and memorable rounds that Ward and Gatti had in their trilogy. 🤔
Not Top Rank, I guess.
They can't. It's not a top rank fight therefore they don't have the rights.
Hbo owns footage
Not espn/top rank
The first fight of the trilogy is my favorite of all time!!
Hagler vs Hearns 1st round. Best 1st round is history!! RIP "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler!
More action than Mayweather's entire career.
Hearns is so damn tough. Cut from that Joe Louis cloth in Detroit. Kronk guys are no joke.
Detroiter here, really wished I lived through the prime Kronk days, maybe I’d focus on becoming a pro, especially having toney, hearns, and McLennan (rip) as sparring partners
@@boywitdapipe3514 Saw a video of the original building all abandoned. The iconic door that says "This door has led many to pain and fame" is still hanging in there. You should go grab and save it. It's a piece of history.
They definitely were
Tommy Hearns will always be my favourite boxer. Would loved to have been there at the Cuevas fight.
Ashamed that Hagler and Hearns never liked each other. I would have loved to hear a post sit down with the two after all these years.
As we can see Hagler and Hearns were very good friends...
10 seconds in, Hearns thought, "I've got him!" 10 seconds later, he thought, "He's got me!"
The way Hagler just looks at Hearns when the round ends. He looking at him like “ima see you when I see you” real men going at it.
That ref that was counting when Fury was down was like: Ooonnneee -- tttwwwo … he was getting a twenty count.
I thought I was the only one that seen it
Benn should’ve been disqualified for that cheap shot against Barkley. Horrible reffing. Padilla should be ashamed of himself
Exactly. And then Benn did it multiple times. Ridiculous.
Hagler vs Hearns is what you would see in a boxing videogame. Boxers were so much more meaner than they are Today. 💯🥊
Perfectly stated. These two and many others of this golden age of boxing were true modern day warriors!
Totally agree with that statement 70s and 80s best decades and best fighters but I have to mention liston what a fighter and how deadly? I will give you my fav fighter of each division and see if you agree? 1 featherweight I'd say naz just b coz of pure entertainment and punching power? Middleweight I'm going for nigel benn because I'm from same manor and again punching power, then we come to the heavy where I have afew, obviously Muhammed Ali is the greatest without doubt but what about tyson who was an animal and at the tender age of 20? All them 1st round kos then there's Larry Holmes who ruled 4 7yrs,? Evander holyfield was champ 3x lennox lewis was a true champ the list goes on on and a big shout 2 smoking joe Frazier I love joe! Let me know your opinions 1love peeps!
@@CarlFormby-n1c
Amazing list My man. Some of My favorites are Cassius Clay/Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Leonard, Joe Lewis, Jersey Joe Walcott, Sonny Liston, Roberto Duran, Tommy Hearns, Mike Tyson, and Big George Foreman.
Whagwan bro I have to send this b coz gerald mcclellan never got a mention in my middleweight neither did Chris eubank, as for mcclellan, what a shame, g9dbless to him and his sister lisa, mcclellan was the miniature mike tyson no 1 gave benn a chance but I ain't gunna lie, I love nigel he is from my area and was always exciting and he could throw bombs, I just feel mcclellan was in trouble from as early as the 2nd round that's my opinion, I dont know what you think but the 2nd round was a great round, maybe the Jackson fights did abit of damage?
@@CarlFormby-n1c
I recently watched that Nigel Benn and Gerald McClellan fight and man o man what a war. I do think that Julian Jackson fight played a huge part as far as taking damage.
Hagler hearns first round had my eyes dryin up from not blinking once..😮😮😮
Benn ate his food😮😮😮
48:23 this is how you know it's an absolute war, there's blood everywhere even on the camera lens
wo are the fighters?
That Barrera war was real Mexican world level guys… Canelo is local now 😂😂
For the next video, please include round 9 of Gatti vs Ward 1. Hagler vs Hearns was amazing!
I thoroughly enjoyed this.
Hearns is Terrance Crawford dad
Wait...No Gatti, Ward round 9 from their first fight???? You need to go back and remake this video to include that round.
It's not a top rank fight, they don't have the rights
60 minutes of Top Rank refs favoring one fighter
Hearns Hagler one of the greatest fights ever.Boxing is not the same anymore.does anyone remember Julian Jackson?
Yeah. That dude was insane. To have that much power at that weight is wild to me. Sooo many brutal KOs. I was just a little too young to watch him.
@@timothy4011 I love boxing and I love bar talk. When it comes to bar talk, everyone is wrong and nobody is right when comes to sports. Julian against Iron Mike in both their primes, would have been a Great fight.
One of the best right hands ever
Great video bravo.Congratulation.
Couldn’t wait for this 🔥🔥🔥
Hagler definitely was throwing low and landed low i never noticed that all the time i watched this fight.. anyone else see that??
The sweet science 🥊💥
I know hearns and hagler did they thing but man the ref was super light on his feet 😂
WOW!!
I
LOVE
🥊🖤😇👑
When I wanna beat somebody up in real life, I just watch this fight!!!
That Bradley round... PHWOOWWW!!
great fights
There isn't a new fighter alive who could last in this era because everybody had power
Two fights that grabbed my attention back in the 80s for absolute intensity and quality were Wilfredo Gomez v lupe Pinter and the other wasn’t …haha
In my opinion boxing was at its best around this time
Castillo v corrales and ward v gatti are two of the greatest fights
You put an ad right in the middle of that first round? Wtf! Im gone.
Why was round 12 of ali vs frazier in here there was one 5 second period where both threw a few punches the rest was hugging with a punch here and there the entire round.
Yeah terrible choice
11:36 yeah i forgot this was a long count and fury was not there. But still came back for the win. He earned the win but the ref
Manny 😱 #🏍🥊💣
Hagler, Hearns, Leonard and Duran in the 80s - for me this will always be the most exciting time of boxing, along with the 80s heavyweight division. End of discussion as far as I am concerned.
Hagler vs. Hearn Titans
Hagler was a beast and a monstrous badass during his time in the ring. RIP Marvin Hagler
Hearns would have won if he just could withstand haglers clinching , pushed him off
In round one
Fantastic match
Much glory to both fighters and of course the winner
Marvin Hagler 🎉👍
Hagler My Favourite Boxer Of All i know After Round 1.. I Needed the Bell..
Warriors..
Still can't believe The War lasted three rounds.
Also I really miss the mid-2000s you had Pacquiao in his prime, at his ideal weight, squaring off against a murderer's row of the toughest Mexican boxers to ever lace up a pair of gloves. And they all fought each other as well.
Hearns and Hagler were throwing serious hands.
This has how I expected Tank Garcia to go
Now you have to remember Tommy broke his hand again after one of those shots to hagler's head
When yall update this, add lomas round 10 and 11 against haney
😂😂😂🫵🫵🫵
If only Hearns hadn't broken his hand...
That dude not shutting up in the second clip
There ought to have been a rematch with Hearns looking to go the distance.
If on sight was two people 😂😂🤣 hearns vs Marvin 😂🤣🤣
Hagler had a granite chin. Duran was knocked out by two of those power shots from Hearns but Hagler eats them like a tic tac.
I can't remember a fight like this that went the distance. I believe12 or 15 rounds. Black and white fight. ????any ideas. Dad told me once since forgotten.
Unless this was it
Wilder VS fury fight in Rd4 was cringeworthy 😂 dude count slow af
The refereeing in these clips are mind blowing. Ref gave Fury a 12 second count, Ref didn’t even take points away from Benn for hitting after the knock down multiple times. Disgraceful.

If you're gonna show round 1 of Hagler Hearns, you might as well show the whole fight!!!
LET’S FUGHINNN GOOOOOO!!!
Certainly this had to be the most exciting boxing match of all. I saw it at the long shore man's hall in san francisco on video screens that were set up for the viewing. I believe it was 1985. I guess hearns came out swinging feeling this was the only way he would win against Hagler who is now sadly deceased but I have to say those were the last of the boxing days since then boxing has never been as exciting but there were four guys who were popular then Duran Hagler Hearns and leonard and were seen as not a man amongst them if you didn't go up in weight and fight Hagler which all of them eventually did. Leonard being last at it.
Leave it to the biggest worm in sports Jim Grey to ruin this amazing video
That zepeda fight omg
I still think 🤔💬 that the Wilder VS Fury knock down count for Fury was hella slow or am I tripping?
18:33 is that Newman
Hearns said as not chinny. Contrary to popular opinion he absorbed huge punches from Hagler. And other big punchers.
i dont see floyd hahahhaa
🚴🏾🚴🏾🚴🏾🚴🏾
He don't see you either 🤡
33:39 - can someone explain to me why one guy gets three chances to recover and the other guy gets no chances? Was it just the decision of the ref that he was done, or was it just bad luck that he was on the ropes, so he didn't have an opportunity to fall to the ground so took more hits?
The commentators felt nothing was amiss.
YTF is that Ali/Frazier round on here?
Manny with all those straight lefts to Marquez' head. WOW
Am I missing something here? I’m not as well versed in boxing as some, but wtf was up with the refs count for Wilder/Fury3? 11::21 Are refs supposed to count like that? Shouldn’t he have been at 9 @ 11:27?
Hagler vs Hearns was a street fight outside of bar. Zero jab.
That's was dirty frm Ben..but I dnt know the other guy might of said
There are FAR better Ali/Frasier rounds than the one here.
❤nigel benn he most exciting ❤❤
I wonder who would win a match between a prime Provodnikov vs GGG
Fury vs Wilder was a very long 10 count
How the hell is Ward vs Gotti not in here?! That's a disservice!
we can only put in fights we own. Ward vs Gotti was not a Top Rank Event. Thanks
@@toprank Makes sense. I still think that is one of those fights that just needs to be celebrated at any and all times!
@@toprank can you upload the full fight between Derrick Jefferson and Maurice Harris? That's one of my favorite fights
Ref in Barkley fight is a stiff. Should've been minus two points for benn or a disqualification.
Tapia 2023 🫶🏼
hit man 🆚 marvelous
헌즈가 아웃 복싱을 적극 구사했더라면,
라운드를 더 끌고 갈수 있었을것.
Ref SAVED De LaHoya from Ike smh
Every punch thrown had bad intentions on it, today most fights is just run,un,run and no action.
It's hard to get them in the ring nowadays.
@@numbernine6390 yes it is, and is a crime the money they make dancing for 12 rounds
How was that round scored- Hagler Hearns?
Chico fight wowza
The video went downhill fast after the first round 😆
19:34
2nd fight seemed a lil scripted based on the way they was commenting
If Hearns don't break his hand I think he win this fight
Great video BUT I have to wonder how you thought that round was Muhammad Ali's most memorable round ??
Suppose to be memorable rounds and it was boring as shit idk why it was put in
The commentators in the Hagler Hearns fight were terrible.
I just watched hearns roldan thats a fuckin fight
BOOGIE vs WINGS or gtfo
Out of all the rounds you show Wilder knocking down fury twice? bahaha Another Wilder fan who cant let it go, your boy cant handle Fury
Hard to judge this fight when Queen Ryan Garcia QUIT.
Ali Frazier? Terrible fight….where was Gatti/Ward. Pick a round in that battle
Nigel Benn should have been disqualified twice.
