Hi..i have a doubt...if pt is allergic with pencillin so I can't able to administer.then which code i suppose to write.is it code 6 prescription incorrect or code 10
Can be code 6 for wrong prescription since a drug which apatient is allergic to should not be prescribed. And can write as code 10 ; Allergic to Penicillins

Hello Emer quick question In the implementation station if you have levothyroxine prescribed 100 mcg in stat and once only meds and you also have it prescribed in regular meds section same dose(100mcg) both due at your medication time in a post operation case scenario for a person who history of hypothyroidism...what is the best course of action?

You don't have to write anything since you didn't administer the PRN medication. You only sign, date and put time on the PRN medication after the administration, and there's no need to code PRN medications.
