Most Expensive Stamps Of Greece | Rare Classic Greek Stamps Value

This video is about 110 Most Valuable and Rare Classic Postage Stamps of GREECE. Greece Stamps were first printed in Paris and issued on 1st October 1861. However, the plates were subsequently transferred to Athens, where printings were produced from November 1861.These imperforate classic stamps are known by philatelists as the 'Large Hermes Head'. In 1886 a smaller design was issued called the "Small Hermes Head". The first pictorial issue was for the 1896 First International Olympics, its classical Greek designs are highly regarded amongst philatelists.
The rarest stamp is from the Large Hermes Heads series, the 1870-71 L "Solferino" which is an unusual lilac-rose color.
In this video I have briefly describe the characteristics of each stamp. Beautiful scenery of Greece is present in the background. It is necessary to mention here that the values mentioned in this video are only for the specific stamp shown with the text.
