    I been watching your videos for almost a year now love them your the best. I enjoy how you make it fun and exciting to learn math. I passed Math 105 and 112 off your tutorials and now I'm in math 113... I wish they had more positive people like you in the world. This nation would be a better place.

    Studying for my final tomorrow, and I must tell you, Mr. Whitt, if I hadn't run across your channel, I don't know how I would have made it through this semester. Yesterday was literally the very first time I have ever seen my teacher write/work through a math equation on the board. I'm not even kidding. All of our class time was spent working on the computer (Alek's program) and my instructor left it to a very confusing computer program to teach/explain these math equations and solutions to us. I don't know about anyone else, but I never could get a good explanation from the computer program...and it's impossible to ask said program how it reached the solution! LOL That being said, I have never once run across someone who was so talented at breaking down these math equations and gifted at teaching as yourself. You are a life-saver, and I'm SO grateful to have found your channel! Thanks so very very much for getting me through this semester, and making math less complicated. You ROCK!!

    Hi, Mr. Whit! The only two reasons that I use the negative first is because on a number line you’ll have your (-) | 0 | (+) and the second reason is because my teacher provides me with an answer sheet for the odd problems and prefers to put the negative first. I personally like the positive first but it doesn’t really matter as long as I know that I have the right answer.

    I just found your videos yesterday..and I gotta tell you I am gaining more knowledge.... not just working the problems... I really wanted a better and clear understanding of what I am doing when I am working the problems..I do not want to be like I was in school just memorizing everything to get through test day..I want to know how everything works together.. I am glad I found these videos because I love the way that you take the time to explain what you are doing step by step..thanks again!! I really did not understand these factoring expressions and I did not know that there were all of these other formulas for cubing and squaring for factoring..WOW! This is a lot to learn..thanks for your soooo goood videos!!

    I always place the + first as well...I get pretty bummed out whenever I have negative problems...I do love the fact that in most cases two negatives equal a positive, and...as in English, don't have no" actually mean you have a multitude of...this gives positivity a leg up no matter what...

    Hello Mr Whit, you mentioned that any number can be made into a perfect square. How is that done sir?
    You can be so funny in your videos too. Big smile to you.

    • @FortBendTutoring
      @FortBendTutoring  8 лет назад +4

      What I meant by that is any number can be used in the difference of squares factoring pattern by simply taking the square root of the number. For instance, x² - 3 = (x + √3)(x - √3).
      Thanks 4 your kind words! I'll take that big smile and raise you another! :-)
