LV’s are known for their pristine precision, luxury and quality. If you’re investing over $2500.00 - you have every right to be meticulous. Make sure your diamonds/flowers are equally balanced on the ends and centered on the sides of the bag and strap. 🫶🏻✌🏼

Thank you so much for watching… I would say the PM is a little heavier than the other bags but not too bad. I hurt my shoulder about a year ago and I still carry it and it’s pretty comfortable. You can’t go wrong with any of those bags, though. They are all great… The PM is my favorite, then the Odeon, and then the CROISETTE

Hi I too have the empreinte (black) and several years ago had the monogram one but sold it as did not like the Vachetta handle. Last year was able to get the reverse when it was really hard to get. I really love it as I don’t have to baby the handle and the black really adds a nice touch to the reverse monogram. I truly think you will like the reverse better and I find it goes with more of my outfits.

I lucked up and found one in store while working in NY, got it last week! I was so shocked and happy when the SA came back with it. He said they are getting alot of hard to find items d/t covid.
I know this bag was recalled due to glazing issues last year I believe. Do you know of any issues with it now? I want to purchase it on the LV website but I'm afraid of that problem happening with my bag.
I believe the glazing issues were mostly found in the bags made before 2020 but I just received mine last month and it was perfect! I think LV listened to all the complaints and made changes accordingly. For example if you look at 5:00, where the monogram design of the flap ends, the newer ones have the monogram extend well below that edge into the bag. Hope that makes sense! If your bag has any defects definitely return it or exchange it for a new one! I examined mine like a hawk when I got it, lol

I purchased the pochette Métis 12 days ago. I got incredibly lucky and after 8 months of stalking lvs website with no luck I found it in a boutique near me in Long Island, Ny. My question is, in the 12 days already, with little to no contact with the vachetta (I’m literally afraid to touch it lol) it has already began to Patina- it is a very slight pink almost. Is this normal? I have worn it consistently since I got it 12 days ago but no long sun exposure except on my commute to work. I checked the bags date code and it was made the 7th week of February this year( so was about a month old by the time I purchased it) *for reference, this is my first brand new mono bag from lv. I have a pre-loved artsy that was heavily patina’ed already when given to me. I had a Speedy 25 in Damier Ebene which I sold towards getting my Métis. The only other bag I have at the moment is a YSL Lou camera bag in the black on black, so no expertise with brand new vachetta here. Sorry for the long question, thank you 🥰
aw thats ok - i would definitely recommend spraying the vachetta with apple guard. They sell it on amazon and that will help the bag from getting water spots.
This purse is on my wish list. I had the chance to purchase one 3 different times in the last year and didn’t do it. They keep going up in price. I think I would get the reverse mono so there’s no patina in volved.

Wrong decision ever!! I thought about buying this bag so much because of the known glazing and cracking issues but then decided a year ago to go ahead and purchase one since it was offered to me at the LV in SA ... I thought is a 2019 bag the issue was between 2013-2015 so I went ahead amd purchased it ...Well today a year later I found the spot of the glazing coming off the side of my bag 😡 now I have to deal with the known issue I was most afraid of 😭😭 DO NOT BUY THIS BAG is not worth almost $2000 !!! I love metis but girl has got bills lol , a friend at my work place introduced slaybags to me and i googled ,saw good reviews about the quality of the bags so i purchased the mm from there and omg i love it , the quality is almost like the real and it came with card and receipt as well . It's the same style when I was in college, 50 years ago. Cute and adorable, but not a classy bag or something to wear on a date or special events. A no-no. Ladies, look at the models on LV website. It's a rich young student going to her classroom. LV bags mainly meant to use for travel, to work and to the mall and LV is well-known to make luggage and travel goods. Unless you pay over 10 k a LV bag like the French first lady Brigitte macron. It's not classy anything under 5k from LV. You like it buy it, very good choice but it doesn't make you classy or look gorgeous. That is a wrong idea that make french people laugh at us. They use it as a bag and they don't baby it to keep value for resale. Have a happy July 4th❣️💕

I would recommend reaching out to a LV sales associate. They can text you when one comes in. That is what I did and it worked well. Thanks!

ahh I love both but I went with the plain monogram because it was more classic.

I just tried this bag on at the boutique on Sunday. It’s the first time I’ve seen it there. I wasn’t sure about this bag at first because I thought it looked a little like a lunchbox. But after trying it on OMG I think I need it! The silhouette on my frame looks so good. Now I’m torn between the Pochette Métis and the Speedy B 25 🤔

@@Raec123 I was doing exactly the same thing. In my opinion the speedy is a casual weekend bag. The PM is more stylish and can be dressed up or downs. I ordered mine last week. :)

I have a question about the pochette Métis I’m hoping you could answer!
I purchased the pochette Métis 12 days ago. I got incredibly lucky and after 8 months of stalking lvs website with no luck I found it in a boutique near me in Long Island, Ny.
My question is, in the 12 days already, with little to no contact with the vachetta (I’m literally afraid to touch it lol) it has already began to Patina- it is a very slight pink almost. Is this normal? I have worn it consistently since I got it 12 days ago but no long sun exposure except on my commute to work. I checked the bags date code and it was made the 7th week of February this year( so was about a month old by the time I purchased it)
*for reference, this is my first brand new mono bag from lv. I have a pre-loved artsy that was heavily patina’ed already when given to me. I had a Speedy 25 in Damier Ebene which I sold towards getting my Métis. The only other bag I have at the moment is a YSL Lou camera bag in the black on black, so no expertise with brand new vachetta here.

aw thats ok - i would definitely recommend spraying the vachetta with apple guard. They sell it on amazon and that will help the bag from getting water spots.
This purse is on my wish list. I had the chance to purchase one 3 different times in the last year and didn’t do it. They keep going up in price. I think I would get the reverse mono so there’s no patina in volved.

I’ve had the Pochette Métis for a year and I love it. I’ve also followed Shea’s advice and used the scotch guard on the vachetta.

I have only one LV purse which is reverse pochette metis 😃However I love it , Everytime when I see my bag , Oh boy my $2000. How am I gonna be peaceful and happy 😃. Maybe I am so cheap person .

As much as I adore my PM bag, it drives me mad when I want to unlock the bag when it is not very full. I do not have issue with closing the clasp when the bag is empty. Do you ever face the issue?

Wrong decision ever!! I thought about buying this bag so much because of the known glazing and cracking issues but then decided a year ago to go ahead and purchase one since it was offered to me at the LV in SA ... I thought is a 2019 bag the issue was between 2013-2015 so I went ahead amd purchased it ...Well today a year later I found the spot of the glazing coming off the side of my bag 😡 now I have to deal with the known issue I was most afraid of 😭😭 DO NOT BUY THIS BAG is not worth almost $2000 !!! Unless you are welling to deal with it ! Thats it you have being warned 😒

I love metis but girl has got bills lol , a friend at my work place introduced slaybags to me and i googled ,saw good reviews about the quality of the bags so i purchased the mm from there and omg i love it , the quality is almost like the real and it came with card and receipt as well . I am happy hopefully i can get the real deal some day .Just sharing thank me later

It's the same style when I was in college, 50 years ago. Cute and adorable, but not a classy bag or something to wear on a date or special events. A no-no. Ladies, look at the models on LV website. It's a rich young student going to her classroom. LV bags mainly meant to use for travel, to work and to the mall and LV is well-known to make luggage and travel goods. Unless you pay over 10 k a LV bag like the French first lady Brigitte macron. It's not classy anything under 5k from LV. You like it buy it, very good choice but it doesn't make you classy or look gorgeous. That is a wrong idea that make french people laugh at us. They use it as a bag and they don't baby it to keep value for resale. Have a happy July 4th❣️💕
