I believe that the VangNex is the true successor of the VangRay though. Considering that the VangRay uses a Railgun, Particle Cannons, Missiles and a Long Range Cannon, the VangNex improved upon these by adding additional tech from the two other dimensions, Funnels from the UC Dimension and everything else from the two dimensions. But for some reason, I just can't stand looking at the animation for the GranVang. Sure, it was a way more powerful unit, but the animation? It felt like it kept skipping some parts.
They actually address that with regards to the inspiration. GranVang is more so based on the Braves (Nine outright says it at one point.) while Next is the proper upgrade (like as in the production line-proper.)
On the bright side, VangNex is kinda faster than GranVang despite having heavy and strong armaments. You could look at the stage background. Also it has an OP MAP attack. So yeah. I would use Matte Black Bullet (Soji’s theme) when Chitose uses VangNex.
Can't stop imagining the what if. I mean what if Tiera Erde has this one rather than Raphael, he would have definitely lived to fight in the last battle against the ELS and having his option of Unleashing WMD Blasts ala Virtue/Seravee and a fast and agile fighting ala Nadleeh/Seraphim. Would've been fitting too since now they all have Bits.
I have to wonder if these attacks are Valor'd/Soul'd, or if this is just the result of min/maxing Chitose's/Soji's stats and skills somehow. Also, seeing this and GranVang, I think I'm sold on GranVang for life. This one just doesn't click with me as well as GranVang does. And if this is just from min/maxing stats over playthroughs... HOLY BAJEEZUS that is insane. Like, literally insane. Need to order this ASAP...
You don't need the internet for that part. It literally tells you when you decide to use the "Smash Hit" Extra Command that you can stack it with Valor/Soul.

i dont care what people says i like the second theme of chitose and choose her almost all the times i replay V, also i like both mechs but i prefer granvang idk why
