I still get to play The Invasion 2, which is one of my favorite SMBX episodes. I love the theme changing worlds in this! LOL at the fast-forwarding music in some stages, which made me think this playthrough was fast-forward, but it's not.
There's nothing new over there at all. Also I usually play on SMBX 2.0 since it's from SMBX 1.3 and SMBX 1.4 has completly different physics and AIs and it doesn't really feel right unlike the original SMBX 1.3/2.0 has.
I've just realized that while SMBX 1.4.3 offers new power-ups like a Propeller Suit, a Penguin Suit, and a Mega Mushroom, it's not officially made by the actual SMBX team. As for SMBX 2.0, it is still in beta that will feature many new characters.

Ohh i remember that kind of mushroom he has at 29:22, when I was little it was my favourite one, and it still is, I remember I use to call it with my brothers "Il coso forte" which in Italian literally means "the strong thing" Actually in Italian "thing"is "cosa" with the A at the end, which is a female word, but we thought it would make the name "coso forte" too weak with a female word😅 that's why we put an o at the end of the word and there it becomes wrong but at least male, so the strong thing was my favourite mushroom.
@HowardSalwasser That level is very short. In the level editor, there are two huge unused areas, one in the smb underground and one with mushrooms platforms and lots of bullets.
OMG I randomly remembered this game then i went straight to check it out i can't believe 7 years passed so fast... i remember coming home from the most fucked up school ever hating everyone from the school and playing this game, it was too good and the memories it brings are pure gold.

At some point I used my parents laptop which is the farthest I've got (50+ stars I think) but my dad factory reset the laptop losing all of my data. My last attempt was using my brother's PC at the time we shared it and I got TIRED starting the game over from the beginning over and OVER during those past few years so when I discovered smbx I decided to just drop sm63 entirely, never to finish again.
Is this made with Clickteam Fusion or Game Maker? And...why is SMB3's overworld and athletic themes sped up? Reminds me of Mario Forever's underwater music
Check for any levels if you haven't completed both regular and secret exits. If you still are clueless you can check the editor in case if you missed them via the level and world map.
Am I the only person here who thinks that this episode is the most abhorrent excuse for level design? Half the levels lack checkpoints, the enemy spam on some levels is off the charts, some levels literally have pipes that take you backwards if you go in them. What even.
I know way how to get infinite lives. 1. get ice flower from house in which you will get also goomba shoe but take just ice flower (goomba shoe is optional) 2. go to floating brich niche and find the goomba generators and freeze one goomba 3. wait until there will be enough goombas and then stomp them and you will get lives from them. enjoy your infinite lives generator

This is a great episode, but I prefer The Princess Cliche and Airship Attack. Super Mario Land Returns 1.4 is great too, but Cliche and Airship Attack are better.

The Invasion 2 is still a great episode till this day! Levels are simple yet enjoyable to get through and it's also designed for 2 players aswell!
