Frankies was always a must visit for us as we are tiki bar geeks. That being said, our last visit was terrible. Drinks were incredibly disappointing compared to previous visits. Service was atrocious and there was only one other couple in there at 12pm. At this point, if we are pressed for time, we are visiting Red Dwarf, Stray Pirate, Golden Tiki and now the new Glitter Gulch tiki is on our list. It's disappointing because of the history and previously great visits.
That’s a bummer to hear. But I have been to places myself where I get so burned and that’s it! I do like the Golden Tiki too, haven’t been to the other ones you noted but now have a couple to check out. Thanks for watching!

Was just there a few days ago. Had to leave early because the smoke smell was too much. Much like all of Vegas. Grabbed a couple Mai Tai glasses and a book while we were there.
I can’t agree more. The smoke is over bearing in there. If you’re lucky enough to be in there when someone’s not smoking it’s fun. But the size is so small once one person lights up it gets bad…quick!

@ Red Dwarf is more punk rock tiki. Great drinks, excellent Detroit style pizza. Stray pirate is fairly new, in the arts district. Amazing interior.

Favorite drink is 3 rum scum. The description is, “start apologizing to everyone”. Great spot for a couple of drinks.
