I had no idea this existed. This is awesome! electric start too?! Automatically the coolest parade vehicle. Right there with the steam powered motorcycle.
My grandpa was showing me where he worked when he was 16, and they had an old steam powered engine sitting outfront, memorialized and he was saying how he was so happy when they replaced it with a make and break because he didn't have to show up at 4am to get the steam going.
very good, and electric start too, i have always thought of an idea like that, wonder if anyone has built one with a larger Rustin and Hornsby diesel engine
Forgive me pretty green on interviews, chain drive to t-style transmission then to 4 speed three-quarter ton 1949 Chevy transmission, starter bolts to trans, we have electric start!!! Google Barn Rod 4-story
Magnificent. Your amusing but pointless toy succeeds in depriving the world of your much needed creativity. On your next project you perhaps add an aircraft engine to a pogo stick.
Thank you much for interviewing me, I enjoy sharing my hobby with the public.
Your welcome; and you have an awesome vehicle.
I've always wondered how well these engines ran under continuous load, hitting on every power stroke? Would it just overheat?
@@adjsaint91 the box shape of the engine is the water hopper. As long as there's water over the cylinder, the engine will not overheat
I REALLY like this truck.. Maybe someday project..........
Nice! Ain*t nothing wrong about a starter motor on a hit n miss very nice!
May be slow but it will run forever!
Love the sound as it cranks and starts.

Epic toy, but can we see a video of it rolling down the highway?
He said it's for parades.
He rolls at 1 mph.
Fascinating! Thanks for sharing... I love this kind of stuff.
Thats pretty darn cool
I love it. Be glad to take it to my local tractor show.
Thank you so much
Ever think about a McCormick Deering swap?
Very cool indeed …one day I hope to see it up close
Thank you so much
In Nova Scotia Canada, they call them engines make and break !!!

Amazing!!! Thank you
This is the man to know when the poo hits the fan.
For 30 horsepower i would rather have a Detroit Diesel. ❤

Well done.
If you are going to have it at Baraboo I’ll have to stop and see it. I have the old gravel crusher and crane at the show.
I'll be there
The hit and miss engine is from Menominee Mi. John
Thank you so much
How does the hit n miss join to the drivetrain?

It's crazy and that's OK. Stop trying to be a killjoy, you're killing it. Can't you just have a little fun? What are you, a politician?
It's a "parade" truck.
Chill out.
there is an annoying ringing sound that hurts my ears.
