How does NATS know the location of where the air ambulance will be routing, in order to advise other VFR traffic, I hear at one point HLE27A say that he is responding to an A call at "square 100," has London been split into squares to make it easier and if so, is that chart available anywhere?
The inside doesn’t sound like helimed 55. Sounds like a MD902. And that MD902 if from Essex and herts by the uniform you have. Since you only have one md902 that is the PLC25. Not helimed 55. (G-HHEM) the registration of the Md902 is G-EHEM. And the inside doesn’t look like it too
This was filmed some time ago, this would be the MD902 registered G-HAAT which flew until 2017 with the air ambulance before the AW169 G-HHEM went into service. Hope that helps.
Sorry to burden you with a question. Why do the pilot did climb back and only then he translated to forward flight keeping the helipad in sight? Thanks for the replay.
I know you asked this months ago but it is to keep the clear landing pad in sight incase of any failures as takeoff and landing are the most likely places to have an engine failure.
Video is brilliant! Would love to see many more like this. Just watching normal GA videos gets boring! Nice to watch the HEMS videos with audio!

Amazing, video, extra special with the ATC! More of this please
This is such a great vid. More creators need to do them like this. No music just hearing everything as it is. Painful it's so short 😄
agreed haha
Awesome! Keep on posting these videos! Really rare to see the EMS business that way ;-)
I wanna do this sooooo baaaad..... Thanks for the vid, keep them coming please!
Good to hear Heathrow special on 125,6250 on heli vids in central London, :)
was wondering what freq that was. Thanks!
Great video! Do you have a longer version?
I love your videos I'm getting shipped out soon for the army to become a pilot

Two different aircraft, both operating in the same vicinity and lifting at the same time 👍🏼
