This looks like a shrimp safe filter also. I have a Juwel Lido 120l tank. And the internal original filter eats my shrimp. I reckon this with an ekstra sponge/or ceramic box would be better?
I inherited a Aqua FX spr1800 with a 4ft setup I recently bought, to stop the sucking sound of the venturi I drill a hole into a empty clean bottle top of a ph up bottle, pushed the venturi into it and then put the lid back on and bam , no noise, the filter itself sounds like a runaway train but no venturi noise lol
These look like they'll be perfect for my quarantine tank... Just a quick question, would a marine pure cube fit into the bio media section of the 500 baby model?
Is that the largest size filter? I asked you in another video about the size of the 500 and whether it’d be too much flow/power etc etc for a 76 litre tank of 30 cm tall. Yes your shop needs a lil tlc ...lol
Would this be better than an external canister filter 1100 Nautilus for a 225 liter aquarium. I just find dealing with all the tubing for the canister filters and opening it super annoying. Not sure if there is enough space for biological media in the turbo filter though?
Can the pump be semi-submerged or does it need to be completely submerged under water? Would it overheat if it's poking out the water? Do you happen to know the length of the 1000 model when fully assembled? Cheers :)
hi, im new to the hobby so i have 3 questions: Q1 so does that power head get submersed? Q2. At the end of the video you said, ''you will often have that working with extra power head or air pump'' so are you saying you're using 2nd filter powered by air pump or power head?..cause i cant see how you would even attach 2nd power head or air pump to the 1st filter. Q3 i know you clean filter in aquarium water - are you just cleanimg sponge only or bio rings aswell? if it helps i have an eihem 400l air pump, 63l tank- 60cm x 30cm x 35cm

@@MajesticAquariumsTV No, i don´t use an airstone! If i lay the filter down there is no problem but upright it can´t remove air that gets collected in the impeller house and it gets really loud! Otherwise it´s a very effective and top of the line filter!
Hi. Any ideas what is wrong if I cannot get the bubbles from this filter? Brand new, so no way anything is clogged. There is a water movement but that's it. Adjusted air tube, but no difference. Only position for bubbles is when it is tilted and almost touching the top of water :(
Can you use these laying horizontaly in a tank? I have a shallow 50 gallon I need internal filtration as my Fluval U4s just died-both of them, just my luck!
Hello, i know that filter is modular - so is it possible for you or 1of your employees to show us how to use the different add - ons?. Cause i've seen 2 chambers together, then sponge, but i cant seem to clip the chambers together.
how and often is this model to be cleaned ? i never had a biological filtration system, and would really love to try it 🤔 my tank is about 135 L so the 500 model should be enough?
Is the level of output flow adjustable on these filters please? I'd like the 1000 model for the media capacity but 1000 litres per hour would be too rough for the tank. Many thanks
The only thing that I hate about these kinds of filters is the suction cups. I find them to be a pain when it comes time to clean filter..pulling the filter off glass (especially with a tall tank) is difficult. A lot of these filters claim you can just slide them off the suction cup base and slide back on after cleaning...nope..99% of the time you have to pull it off the glass and reattach to filter...if they were held in place with magnets I would probably use them more...
Popping it off bracket is easier than popping it back on...most times you still have to reach back into tank and pull the bracket off the glass to reattach....
The absolute best filter out of the box! I use it in all aquariums!
nice info - I went into the store at Taren Point today and bought this model. Took about 5 minutes to set up. Very happy with it.

Great filter!
That was very informative
At 1:36 u say don't clean it with tap water. So I just take a bunch of water from the tank and clean it??
Yep

Well you can come and give it some!
Turbo 2000 is the biggest

can i use Aquael 1000 for a 90 l aquarim or is too strong? im using Aquael 500 turbo now but is not enough..
Yes you can use either

Likely fine but best if fully submerged

When and how do you clean the sponge?,
monthly in water from the tank
Turbofilter has one huge problem! It collects air in the impeller chamber and that makes a ratteling noise
only if you have it near an air stone

Is this filter quiet?
Totally yes
I really want to go into your shop. I live on the Gold Coast so I cant
I really want to go to the Gold Coast, I am in the shop so I can't LOL
The heat up here is horrendous. Do you have any tips for keeping crystal red shrimp?

Take it back to your LFS
hey man can you do a guitar tutorial on "GONE SHOOTING" I think I'm playing it wrong

remove the grill off the bottom of the media chamber and the strainer in the sponge slips right on

Depends how dirty it gets
Wash in tank water
Every 2 weeks would be common
how long is the wire?
5m?

yes
Do you have a link to what sizes are available?
Sneezy 1200 500, 1000, 1500 and 2000
That is a really cool little filter. Looks really easy and impressive. I think your shop needs a little bit of a woman touch LOL
Totally!
I wish I could find one interested in fish that wants to work!

MELODY MUNRO I never remove the suction caps on these I just lift the pump and it pops off the bracket or I disconnect the media part

I have no trouble popping these ones back on, they just slide in
