Yes. You can use sample layer and grass nodes to place grass where ever the sample layer node says so. So if the sample layer node was set to grass layer in the landscape layer blend and then hooked into the grass node, grass would auto spawn where ever the grass texture is found. etc etc
I got a problem with the texture getting on wrong places, even when i have done everything you did in the video. I have flipped the X, i have been trying without flipping the X and so on but still the same problem.
Flipping X for the height map should work, height needs to be flipped X but the splat maps need to be the opposite. So Height map export Flip X, Splat map export normal. If both are flipped you will have issues.
I did Flip Y and it worked but unfortunately the height of the map is just not exact pretty sad I wondering if there's a way to import height map without wrong scale?
TheIcemanModdeler it's better for use with games and similar products due to its speed of use. Gets better every update and is what I always use for terrains now.
Not sure really how either of these applications actually create the erosion. I would argue that World Machine is a higher simulation but is slow and takes time to process things while World Creator 2 is almost instant at the cost of realism. So it depends on your needs. I like the hands on control and speed of operation with World Creator 2. For games it is unnecessarily to get totally accurate height maps and World Creator 2 does just fine. It is also handy if you use unity because they have a unity version that is an asset.
Yes you can make the terrain very big or small, what ever dimensions you need then on export you can choose to export a tiled heightmap so instead of 1 map you get 4 or 8 etc etc. Not sure how to get the splat map to work for that though other than exporting the splat / heatmaps like I do in the video and dividing the images up into sections and saving them out again.

I can not find a way to add normals to this material. If I add normal, my material is not showing any information. Can you help me?

Is World Creator 2 better than World Machine? At a first glance it's very interactive and you don't have to wait to build everything.

Is it possible to export other kind of data from World Creator? Like the sky and weather data?
