Another awesome review Gusto! This Chilean 24hr was a tad different than mine component-wise. That drink mix was interesting. It needs an anti-caking agent, that's for sure. Those FRH's are serious. MRE Mountain worked hard to establish that connection with Daff. It's great to see the supply has remained steady because this is a fantastic ration.
Just as info, Im Chilean, and use those rations all the time, first I also thought that the isotonic beberage was compromised, but, nope, all the rations has those isotonic drinks with moist inside, I even send an email to the company asking about that, they said it´s how it´s meant to be... Not a fan, but the drink it´s ok, so I stoped asking :) The protein bars, and candies and march rations go in another mre, those are complementary to the one in your review. Great review! You have another subscriber!
Fresh and an unusual ration too. Thanks for this one. Chili wins the rations for the spork. Yeah that is a lot of prunes in that bag too. Nice that the chicken pieces are quite big in the stew.Yes not a lot of extras in the meal just good wholesome food. Very nice to see a meal that contains peas that isn't overwhelmed by the flavor of the peas. Thanks for the great review.
Glad to see you back Amigo ! Awesome ration and review ! I have seen only A few of this type ration. Quite a lot of food, and good looking items. Large biscuits indeed ! Great FRH it would seem, LOL. I like the looks of the chicken stew. Turkey and rice, lentil stew looked tasty also. Overall, great review and ration sir. Oh, I love the spork, LOL. I have A , TACTICAL SPORK, that should arrive next week. I can't wait to show it off. Someone will probably have one on review before I get to use mine, LOL. Keep up the great work, Peace, John.
Finally! I've missed you! I am just watching this but, I already know this is gonna be amazing! Any more videos coming soon? I ain't trying to rush you,I promise. I just love your videos so much!
Excellent review, thanks I ordered one based on this review and got it today. Mine has a pack date of May 2018 and I didn't get a spork (bummer) but mine has three pork curries so an extra main instead of the spork.
Hey RC good to see you. Great review as always. Everything looks delicious and very hardy. Thank you for all the work you put into them. And hello to the snoring doggie:)
Hey, brother, another good review. I realized I hadn't gotten a notification for your channel in awhile. I see that this review from April 26 is our last one I hope you're doing okay. I miss your reviews and hope you can get another one out soon.
What?!? You have a life outside RUclips?!? Well, imagine my shock! I thought it might have been a summer vacation kind of thing. Glad to hear everything is okay, and all your fans will be looking forward to your next review.
I couldn't help but notice you dumped the dinner mains into the water that was sitting on the outside of the bag from the FRH. Does it not taste funny or do you think it's fine to ingest the chemicals from that water? I'm just curious.
Dang it, another reviewer I’m going to be following! A nice review. A decent amount of fibre in this meal with the lentils and the prunes and raisins. Eating a high fibre diet would mean less of a “digestive impact” than if you eat a sustantially meat and low fibre flour diet like a lot of Americans, Britons, and Australians. No chocolate, cookies, or other sweet junk also gains points for a more healthy meal. U. S. DOD recommends you don’t consume MRE’s as an exclusive diet for more than around three weeks in succession. The higher fibre and lower sugar content in this ration changes that. Did you see any puncture marks in the beverage packets? They may, unlikely as it sounds, be intended to be that way. I might try and find out if this is the case.
Awesome video man! Still watching, this'll be a nice long video! :) Also I gotta ask what fo you use for your background and lighting? I'm thinking of adding a background, but I also I don't wanna spend 100 bucks on it
Simon Cross it’s a folding floor mat that my 7 year old used for nap time in preschool...I’m pretty low-tech here. I film on my living room coffee table covered with a gray blanket. 🤓
All the meals, lentils, Turkey and Chickens stew, are typicals dishes in the Chilean homes...the peaches too for dessert. The plums isnt a typical dessert but is ok.. Greetings from Chile
Tracy Phillips yes I am-I had to take a short break for the summer break-tons of plans with my kids. Material filmed, just not edited yet. I will be back very soon.
RC Gusto I know how things go with children and in my case now grandchildren, need to spend all the time you can with them. Thanks for replying, looking forward to your upcoming videos.
Nice... I liked the fruit and veggies in this MRE (btw binding up the troops isn't a great idea as a distraction becomes an obsession). I didn't like the cheap Nescafe, not enough tea and no seasoning? Who eats granola dry? Otherwise Chile 👍
Blindpolecat950 I’m not Steve...I’m Gusto...my uploads have been slow recently due to some work and family commitments. I will have new material very soon
I'm confused mate, are you American or Canadian? You sound like you're from the deep south, but you called it "jam" not jelly. Americans call jam jelly. Canadians correctly call it jam.
That’s actually interesting, if I drank coffee before bed I would be up all night. Different Cultures have different things... things that seem strange to us, are normal for other people/cultures. It’s interesting! But if I was drinking coffee at night I’d most likely always have decaf!
Blindpolecat950 that’s a good question...I inherited that skull from my grandfather, who was a dentist. I also used it for study in medical school, so it has been in my family since the ‘70s. My grandfather was one of the most influential people in my life, always advising me to never stop exploring, learning about as much as I can. This is one of those explorations for me, so the skull kind of represents that spirit of exploration. Because of its history, the skull is one of my most prized possessions. It usually sits on my desk.

Steve1989MREInfo hey steve love your videos!
Nice!
Not bad!!!
Nice little hiss :)
Nice!
In case you guys needed a translation "Pretty well packaged seal" translates into "Nice Hiss" in common Steve1989 tongue.
What a hearty ration! I grew up in South America, so all the mains looked very familiar...comfort food. Another great review.
MsKestrela thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed
Mi primo de la fuerza aérea me ha regalado un par de raciones de combate, son exquisitas, las llevo a la playa. Saludos desde Chile.
Great job. Your my second favorite me reviewer RUclipsr. Of course Steve1989 is my favorite. But your doing a great job. Keep it up.
Humberto Vergara he’s my favorite too. Thanks for watching!
looks like a pretty good ration, plus you got a spork you can put with your camping gear
Kaylynn Strain I love these sporks
Yeah, it's basically the same thing as LMF branded spork. Quite usefull.
Just as info, Im Chilean, and use those rations all the time, first I also thought that the isotonic beberage was compromised, but, nope, all the rations has those isotonic drinks with moist inside, I even send an email to the company asking about that, they said it´s how it´s meant to be... Great review! You have another subscriber!
the drink is not concentrated, it is meant to be prepared with 1Lt of water haha
There's always something satisfying of opening rations. Always enjoy your videos
DualImperiusMC it’s like a Christmas present!

No reason to apologize for the snoring dog - it's always comforting to know your faithful companion is always by your side.
MrAlumni72 👍🏼 we unfortunately lost that sweet dog recently. She was very old and it was just time. Never easy.
Love your informative videos! Cheers to a great video and a killer looking ration! Mremountain is a great source!
Animal-Free MRE thank you sir!
Awesome review man! Always love seeing your stuff.
I've got one of these as well, Menu 3 I believe, and I keep putting off reviewing it.
BTemple you’ll enjoy it!
Urgency, very good use of medical terminology
BATTERIESc medical terminology is my primary language!

Great video, you and Steve are always doing a good review.
Tracy Phillips I truly appreciate that
Finally! I've missed you! I am just watching this but, I already know this is gonna be amazing! Any more videos coming soon? I ain't trying to rush you,I promise. I just love your videos so much!
Stephanie Ann sorry for the delay!

wow! fresh upload! Great job as usual, Gusto!
Pushan Sengupta thank you!
What a great advancement in feeding the troops these mres are. Compared to the ww2 rations its a feast.
You alright after that pit? That sounded painful and even hurt me a little.
Short Bus Operations all good!
The spork was proper fancy 👍
These were good meals, great review. I hope the prunes didn't give you too much... urgency.
That was awesome mate. Very nice looking ration. LOL... the snoring dog gave me a good chuckle 😁🤣
Ol' Mate Dropbear she’s kind of pathetic...she’s an old blind cocker spaniel
Hey RC good to see you. Great review as always. Everything looks delicious and very hardy. Thank you for all the work you put into them. And hello to the snoring doggie:)
Ok last question can you open a po box so people can send you military things so you can do unboxing videos
Blindpolecat950 I’m open to people sending stuff-just PM me on Facebook or YT and I’ll send you an address
RC Gusto ok I will do that
I thought the darker brown in the granola was brown sugar, but uh, bet it would’ve been good adding a little hot water to it..
Hey, brother, another good review. I realized I hadn't gotten a notification for your channel in awhile. I see that this review from April 26 is our last one I hope you're doing okay. I miss your reviews and hope you can get another one out soon.
Sar Jim I am still here! Took a little break while my kids are out of school. Back to production very soon
What?!? You have a life outside RUclips?!? Well, imagine my shock! I thought it might have been a summer vacation kind of thing. Glad to hear everything is okay, and all your fans will be looking forward to your next review.
Holy cow, those FRH's are crazy!!!!!
I couldn't help but notice you dumped the dinner mains into the water that was sitting on the outside of the bag from the FRH. Does it not taste funny or do you think it's fine to ingest the chemicals from that water? I'm just curious.
Great review Gusto! Everything looked really good. I know i would enjoy that turkey curry.
Great review! Have you seen any of the new FRH’s that are air activated?
This ration definitely outclasses
US MRE’s by a wide margin.
Dang it, another reviewer I’m going to be following!
A nice review.

UncleGweilo sweet! Welcome! Thank you for watching
Awesome
Awesome video man! Still watching, this'll be a nice long video! :) Also I gotta ask what fo you use for your background and lighting? I'm thinking of adding a background, but I also I don't wanna spend 100 bucks on it
Simon Cross I use a couple cheap led lights and the overhead light of my fan, living room windows behind. Total about $50
Oh alright, and for the background are you using like foam?
Simon Cross it’s a folding floor mat that my 7 year old used for nap time in preschool...I’m pretty low-tech here. I film on my living room coffee table covered with a gray blanket. 🤓
Haha! Who woulda thunk it! Awesome man thanks for the answers!
All the meals, lentils, Turkey and Chickens stew, are typicals dishes in the Chilean homes...the peaches too for dessert.
The plums isnt a typical dessert but is ok..
Greetings from Chile
Pretty generous ration imo
cool looking ration
Excellent video!!!
Admiral Preparedness thank you!
Hey RC are you still doing reviews?
Tracy Phillips yes I am-I had to take a short break for the summer break-tons of plans with my kids. Material filmed, just not edited yet. I will be back very soon.
RC Gusto I know how things go with children and in my case now grandchildren, need to spend all the time you can with them. Thanks for replying, looking forward to your upcoming videos.
@@rcgusto2427 We miss you, brother. But family comes first always. Hope you are having a great time with your family :)
Victor González new vids next week!
@@rcgusto2427 great news 👍
That spork is the same as the Dutch army provides these days with their rations
Dutchman 2 it’s a great addition
The biscuit looked nice 👍
Sam's World of Rations quite tasty!
Dang you chose prunes oatmeal cookies and granola with raisins for breakfast hope you had spare tp with you
It looks plentiful for 24 hours. It is seen that they put effort into creating it
I enjoy your informative videos. Thank you.
Richard Watts thank you for watching!
Awesome review.
it looks like urgency , or the later !
Tasty meal, good review.
for my next ration review I am thinking of going Polish or Lithuanian
Kaylynn Strain Lithuanian rations are underrated. Give it a shot
Nice... I liked the fruit and veggies in this MRE (btw binding up the troops isn't a great idea as a distraction becomes an obsession). I didn't like the cheap Nescafe, not enough tea and no seasoning? Who eats granola dry? Otherwise Chile 👍
Keep it up bud, good job
Why everyone who taste this MRE believe that the cookie is actually bread?
No chili in the Chile ration?
😁
I’ll show myself out…
RC Gusto why do you upload every month has any body else notice that
Blindpolecat950 I’m not Steve...I’m Gusto...my uploads have been slow recently due to some work and family commitments. I will have new material very soon
RC Gusto I know I messed up on the name
Great job gusto I liked and subbed.
Dean Destefano I sincerely appreciate that!
Nice
RC Gusto what is your Facebook ?
Blindpolecat950 RC Gusto ration reviews
I'm confused mate, are you American or Canadian? You sound like you're from the deep south, but you called it "jam" not jelly. Americans call jam jelly. Canadians correctly call it jam.
Neale Gray I’m from Oklahoma. I usually say jam if it has more fruit purée appearance, jelly if it is more clear.
Dang... dont need to add salt to that frh...
Oh no not prunes (squirt squirt )LOL
Thank for the review and your birth mark looks like a cat lmao
Ileana Cornier yeah, it kinda does! Thanks for watching!
Why would u have coffee at dinner? Lol I’d have it for breakfast or lunch!
Coffee knows no designated time, for coffee is life.
That’s actually interesting, if I drank coffee before bed I would be up all night. Different Cultures have different things... things that seem strange to us, are normal for other people/cultures. It’s interesting!
But if I was drinking coffee at night I’d most likely always have decaf!
In chile we drink decaf at night unless you plan to stay awake... I'd say it's the same everywhere
S N O R I N G
D O G G O
Wena cazuela nano
RC Gusto I be thinking this for the longest time why do you have a head with a spoon in the mouth
Blindpolecat950 that’s a good question...I inherited that skull from my grandfather, who was a dentist. I also used it for study in medical school, so it has been in my family since the ‘70s.
