Yes, you can go from Mandi, Joginder Nagar and Kangra , Palampur, Joginder Nagar also. There's one more direct road from Mandi to Barot via Chatngari without going to Joginder nagar.

Barot valley ka road bhot narrow hai.....yaha Jane ke liye bir ya phir joginder nagar se 2 wheeler rent pe mil jate hai kya?.....May me offseason rahega ke phir bhot crowd rahega?

I think no two wheeler available. Road is broad till Joginder nagar or if coming from Mandi road is broader till Ghatasani. From ghatasani also you can drive four wheeler but with precautions. Yes can higher cab from Baijnath or Jogindernagar for barot. Joginder nagar to barot distance is just 40km.
Barot is peaceful area I have never seen crowds in barot. But have to book hotels or camp in advance if going on weekends
