It only looked weird cause i wasnt 100% used to it due to the fact that I've had long hair for 4 years and my natural hair isnt silky straight.I told stephen i didnt want it straighten it right that second cause i didnt want to speed up the split end process.

Funny I found this 6 years later, I don't know what the hate is about, it's a really cool looking haircut, I have the same basically and am growing it out. my hair at the moment is at about just past the top of my ears, so I still have a while to go for growing it, but I LOVE it. Such a cool style and if I wanted to I can slick it back, or brush it back to make it look more neat and tidy for special occasions, etc. Such a good cut.

Salon Guy did a good job but I think most people are bashing it because they think it doesn't look good on him in particular. Look at Josh Mario John, he has the same cut and everyone loves it. You should check out Jim/James Root from the band Slipknot recently he's been rocking the undercut and has wavy long hair on top and a giant beard and he looks bad ass
