Mary, we love everything you do, but your readings of old timey stories is our absolute favorite. Simply put, the greatest soporific aid available. We have listened to your two readings about Black Ankle County so many times that I imagine that if those recordings were on vinyl or tape, we would have worn them out by now. I didn’t even watch this to sleep, I found it fascinating especially having studied sanitation in university. I love seeing the evolution of science and understanding of the world around us over time.

I have a collection of vintage and antique books. From bibles from my grandfathers that were carried in both world wars, to text books and even a 1929 copy of Little Woman. This may be my FAVORITE of all of your videos. Thank you Mary

You have the most loveliest voices and I enjoy your vlogs so very much. I have to say this is one of the most intriguing and fascinating vlogs ever. I am thinker it is both a blessing and hindrance because I tend to over think. However, as you were reading my mind went into sentimental overdrive, imagining all the different places your book traveled through; the many hands that held it and all the eyes that read it. My son works for a lady in her little bookstore and one day she found this book written by John Lennon called, "A Spaniard In The Making" she gave it to my son to give to me. It's not antique but (besides my kids and my cats) it's my only uni8 treasure .. But what you found is amazing, especially when it has stayed so well preserved!
