- Feb 10, 2020 - My comparison video of the 1/6 scale Hot Toys WONDER WOMAN Figures prior to the upcoming WW84 movie which will surely have a figure release as well. I will compare as best I can, the main differences most important for collectors to look at with each figure.

The hot toys exclusive version it’s so awesome. It’s not comparable to the others because it’s a concept version.
Thanks for doing this great comparison video! I have the deluxe JL version and just recently purchased the Training Armor version. I think from a value standpoint, these will rise when the new WW movie opens. I’m really hoping for a full-on Hot Toys Winged Armor-version, as what’s seen in the trailer and promos. Love the sheets, by the way. Looks like something a Filipino mom (ie: my Mom) would’ve bought and saved over the years!
Good eye on the sheets! And yes, my very Filipino mom never throws anything away and we have a problem at their house where I am currently crashing at (long story) as she just has too much clutter and digs stuff out of the trash when we try to throw it away! Looking forward to seeing what Hot Toys does for WW84 and I also would love a Winged Armor version if they can do it right! Thanks for the view and comment! :)
@Liber8me Definitely looking forward to seeing future releases of the Hot Toys Wonder Womans and hopefully we can all still see the movie not too far off from it's original release date somehow. With all the lockdowns, everything is just pushed back and I wonder if the toy releases will be pushed back too...?

The headsculpt for the new movie(1984)-version is a big improvement.
I agree too! Excited to see more from Hot Toys for WW84. Would love the Gold Armor version, but it's a bit expensive. Will have to see...
The training armor is the most accurate right now, until the WW84 Golden armor will release. The regular WW84 headsculpt from the shots looks way off. We'll see if HT improves it.
@@freestyla85 The Golden Armor head sculpt is terrific, I agree (I have it on pre-order!). But I think the regular WW84 head sculpt isn't half bad. To me, the facial features are closer to those of the real Gal than the previous versions.
Are the leg muscles less defined in the BvS version compared to the JL and CC versions?
I think they are pretty much the same. At the moment I don't have them all in hand as I'm away on vacation, but I don't recall any major differences with the legs. If there are some, it might be very very slightly less definition in the BvS version, but like I said, I think they're all the same.
Yeah in most videos I’ve seen it seems like they just aren’t as much defined. Don’t know maybe it’s the lighting.

I really like the training Wonder Woman equipment I wish the eagle was still on the justice league Wonder Woman shield though.
Yeah, that would've been cool to see it kept on the shield! The Training Armor version is a really cool figure and I think overlooked.
I've just got the BvS after examine the new WW a lot, in my personal opinion the BvS looks better, but I'll try to get the head sculpt from the new one to compare if it's better or not... definitely I don't like the head sculpt from the JL .
Raúl Maillé It’s funny as most people seem to like the JLA head, but I also like the softness of the BvS version. It all just comes down to opinion and preferences, so if you like it, that’s all that matters. Not sure how I feel about the WW84 version with sculpted hair, but I think I’ll have to eventually pick that version up too..! 😅
@@MarlotheCollector I know I'm in the minority of the people who likes better the BvS, but I have compare it in my photoshop with photos of Gal Gadot and the BvS is the one who is close to the likeness of the actress, but yes at the end is a matter of personal preference, and like you I like the softness of the BvS and also I'm not sure of the sculpted hair either, right now I prefer rooted hair in WW.
@@RMAILLER i use my vornado and blow her hair and photograph her. we can't do that with sculpted hair

Think the comic version should’ve been silver instead of gold also instead of the skirt it should’ve been shorts or pants. The red also could’ve been darker the super bright colors give it a toy-like look. Less stars also would’ve helped.
Especially when the bottom of her skirt silver and parts of her are gold.
@@gw7911 Yeah, I think that would've been a cool looking design and look for a more updated comic version of WW! But I guess they also wanted to get that Lynda Carter WW look in there too... Still, I think silver instead of gold would've looked killer!

I most definitely agree! I don't know why they couldn't recapture that near perfect sculpt with the other versions?
@@MarlotheCollector maybe they dont have the right of portrait of the actress face?
Or maybe they have a different artist sculpting. I think the latter two versions kind of have an Angie Harmon vibe to them.
Soft goods and faux hair on figures just weirds me out. Dunno why, it just does.
I happen to like soft goods hair, but it also depends on how they apply it and how it is fixed for display. It does take some work as opposed to sculpted hair, but it often can achieve more realism in a figure if that is what you are after. But to each his own and I totally get it!
