I lost it when the father said that the one femur bone that was all that was left of Christina was as big as she was when she was born. I cannot imagine how traumatic the mother felt realizing that day she spent with her only child literally a day later she would be dead and all that's left of her is part of one of her femur bones.... My heart breaks and goes out these poor parents as well as all victims and their families. Tomorrow marks 23 years and I have not forgotten and I still remember... 😭💔🇺🇸🙏🏼
This is heartbreaking. The grieving parents were only recovered their daughter’s femur bone :((( I will never understand war crimes and terrorist attacks.
This is straight-up heartbreaking. My heart goes out to these people. It's just...too much. It's too much for people who aren't even related to the victims; it's just plain heart-wrenching for the families.
Just imagine spending time with your child one day and then less than 24 hours later, you lose that child suddenly and so violently. And the only remains they could drudge up is a femur bone??? Just really digest that and think of how you'd feel in their shoes. I really can't understand people who lack basic, human empathy.😔
I definitely think so. They might not even know they're having a premonition, just feel a sudden need to say or do something. I lost touch with one of my close highschool friends shortly after we graduated. She contacted me 7 years later out of the blue saying she missed me and we should get together, but she passed away in a car accident a month later. It could have been a coincidence, but I wonder if there was some sort of pull to make contact with people that had been important to her
Those who say 9/11 was fake really have no sympathy or heart, these are real families mourning over the real victims of 9/11. This is absolutely so heartbreaking, the way the parents spoke about their daughter with so much love, I cried so much 💔
Man, I don’t know why this hit me so hard. I’ve seen hundreds of stories about 9/11 survivors and people who died that day. But man… this one was hard to see.
When it's your only child it hurts even more!!!! When my friend who died ( she was also 7 months pregnant with a girl) her mom was never the same she stopped eating and died. She just couldn't go on.Prayers to all
Christina Ryook was working for Cantor Fitzgerald on 9/11... So was Adele Christine Sessa-her best friend was a woman I loved very much, my college sweetheart Michelle... I wish I had died in Adele’s place.
She was born in the same year as me and now 20 years on I have had kids and they are almost adults......That would be the saddest part to not watch your child have their own kids or travel or move up in their career. You just don't get to see any of that because their life has ended so early.
It was chilling when she told her friend to take care of her parents if anything was to happen to her. I’m assuming that maybe she had dreams of something terrible that was gonna happen. Because, why would u say that? What we say is what’s in on hearts first before we speak it. Her parents are such beautiful people that produced a beautiful daughter. U can tell they really love her and that her life was one to celebrate and remember.
It’s always difficult to hear 9/11 stories, even 22 years later. I do love to hear about each victim and their story. What their life was like. It’s a way to allow their families and us as a country, to honor their lives. We lost so much that day. I’m still angry about it. God bless the victims of 9/11, both living and dead, and their families. We will never forget 9-11-01.
Very sad to know about Christina.Such at a young age she died. She was their only child and killed in 9/11 attack without any fault of her like so many others .😢
Okay, so I do this every year about a month before September 11th... I watch 9/11 videos, news pieces and stories about those who died or those who survived. This one is now on my top ten favorite stories. 😊
The terrorists indiscriminately killed that day. They killed without regard for race, gender, creed, belief, politics, or nationality. I hope you are resting well in Heaven, Christina. And Go Blue!
This story was heartbreaking. Christina Soonga Ryook’s legacy is clearly in the loving, beautiful people that are her family and friends. Very moving to see the library named after her and the scholarship in her name. May her parents continue to find closure and peace in her memory. May their daughter rest in peace.
Was there a photo of Christina and her mommy the day before she passed? I really hope so : ( or I dk if that would be better - I feel for the parents. Their hearts are broken , you can tell.
@Kruimeltjegek Best practice would have been to give the remains to the coroner and have them contact the family to ass what they would like done with it.. Imagine a cop shows up at your door and says, "We found some of your daughter. Here's a piece of her leg bone."
@Kruimeltjegek Not to be morbid, but it's interesting that some people were found intact while others were not found at all. Talking about the building collapse. I would have thought that since everyone experienced the same thing, the bodies would have all been in the same or similar condition. But some were found identifiable while others were ground into dust.
Rest in Peace, Christina Ryook. --- Until the Lord of Life, calls you forth from your sleep. 🥀🕯 When in God's wonderful HOPE-filled Love, she and her parents and friends will embrace again. --- A far better World, then.
I love learning about each victim. Giving a story to the number.
So many people that made the world a BETTER place. Killed by people who've done NOTHING good!
The way her parents speak of their daughter just beams with LOVE! ❤
I'll never forget talking to your mom a couple months after your passing and she just beamed talking about you.
We all miss you Christina.

Such a sad story. Btw it’s 22 years not 23 years. So many people weren’t found either cause of the wreckage, they’re bodies where incinerated.
@@jilla-dr9hu thanks for the correction.

I'm so incredibly sorry for your loss. Beautiful soul. RIP ANGEL
Sometimes I wonder if people had premonitions. The question she asked her best friend is chilling.

She was so beautiful🩷
So many lives, not just the victims but their future children, and then their children. Bloodlines lost, memories, families, gone and for what?
Rest in peace to those who died
So sorry to their loved ones 🕊🤍
It’s been 22 years…
Why would the cops bring her femur to her parents? Why didn't the coroner office call them?
That's exactly what I just posted. They handed the family a bag with a bone in it. Like here. Here's your daughter.
@@keithb372They did that to all the families. Just gave them bits and pieces of their loved ones.😢
