[Rather Simple] How to fold an inflatable Easter Egg using pure origami (no cutting or gluing). To fold an egg about the same size as a chicken egg use a 6-inch square of paper. My previous 3-D egg from a Square Base which I taught here: • 3-D Easter Egg ends up bigger than a chicken egg if folded from a 6-inch square.

I love how even though you've been making origami videos for so so many years, you still always take the time to thoroughly explain everything in perfect detail. Like, the water-bomb base, for example- you must have used it a million times by now but you always treat it like it's the first. I really appreciate that, Jeremy
Thank you! 😊 Thanks for the kind and thoughtful feedback. I do put a lot of effort into making my videos clear and high quality. I find that it takes me longer to make videos than it used to, partly because I learned little editing tricks like zooming in on the model to make smooth transitions between clips.. Making weekly videos keeps my perfectionist tendencies in check by limiting the amount of time I can spend on each video.

Sooooo amazing! I loved doing origami as a kid....instructions on the other hand were....well not exactly helpful 😅 you just made my kids day! My 12yr old is not verbal autistic, he's going to have a field day. It's not always easy to find entertaining things for him. My 7yr old couldn't stop gasping and geeking out playing this. At first i was like "Jeremy, you taught one of these already. Why are you doing it again?" until you said that it was folded from a water bomb base and not a square base an I love how it's folded from a different way because it opens up more possibilities for folding other stuff like this.
Ya, I was just wondering today what other waterbomb models might benefit from this kind of lock.

If I could afford it and didn't have to earn a living, I would love to make membership free to everyone and not have to put ads on my videos. But the reality is I really do rely on the earnings that I receive from this channel in order to pay my bills. Just as your parents need to work in order to support you, I have financial obligations too, and my memberships and ad revenue is what enables me to be able to focus so much on origami and continue to make a new video every week free to everyone, and still be able to meet my financial obligations. I don't know if this is possible, but maybe you could figure out a way to earn the few dollars a month that a membership costs. Maybe you could sell origami models to your friends or relatives, or offer to do some sort of cleaning or other chores for your family to earn an allowance. One of my students tells me that Pako Pako is model that people are happy to purchase. Good luck!

Hey Jeremy can you make another Rubiks cube because for the other one I’ve been struggling on it for so long
So very amazing and I'm about to try -- I'm not experienced; only have done a few things in the past. 2 things: What kind of paper do you say you are using? The other, I actually hate to mention, but it would be awesome if you could clean up your fingernails and cuticles a bit; it is very distracting to me. Maybe it is just me; but I bet it is to others and they are just kind enough not to mention it. Thank you for what you do......
It's called kami, which means paper in Japanese. It refers to paper made specifically for origami, colored on one side white on the other. Sorry my fingers or fingernails are distracting you. I sometimes get skin rashes (eczema) on my fingers and that might be what you are seeing.

Hi Arihaan, Thank you, it was a happy Easter!.. I just got back from 5 hours of untrashing my town while dressed in festive Easter attire. Paper.......I used to use Aitoh paper; then I switched to Daiso because it was less than half the cost. I still use Aitoh 10-inch kami, but I just discovered that Daiso now makes 10-inch kami so I'll be switching to that in the future. I saw the Lupro paper online and I decided to try it out. I like that you can buy entire packages of one color, and I like that light blue color. I also bought a red package since red is my favorite color.
