    Interesting video Dan. Our round bailer had knifes in it so a little different but other than that its the same. You look after your machinery as you have to now a days the price of things. Great video Dan

    Just picked up a Claas 180 Variant RC Baler but it only came with the electric control box and 7 pole lights cable. It was missing the 2 pole cable connection. I'm curious if you could describe your electrical connections and how set up on the tractor and baler ends of the connections.

    Very cool and interesting video Dan. I have a question: i m interested in the problems that could happen with the round baler during the baling season with focus on the idler sprocket? How often do you change them? What is the main cause of idler sprocket failure? Thanks

    Iv a 250 roto cut, its a great old baler, but at least ones a season it breaks down,, makes really nice bales, l have the knifes up all the time, but they are kinda blunt, so don't chop it to short. What kinda speed do you bale at.

    Have you been eating net Dan😉😁? The auto Oiler can be touchy 🙁. Got to majorly work on mine last year. Neighbors say the auto oiler just helps the fire department find you quicker when your baler catches fire 🔥!😂

    Hi great video ...again....!! I bought a claas 46 this winter ..it will be the first time I have ever tried to make any myself as contractors have always done it but sometimes getting somebody can be hard during bad summers... when I bought it the farmer had removed the crop guard across the pick up as he said it caused blockages...that's the green flat thing about 6 inch wide that sits in front of the pick up tines... but iv put it back on... have you had any blockage problems yourself??

    How's it going I've recently upgraded to a rollant 255 from a 46 just wondered does the net have to be woven through the 5 tightening bars? The 46 only has 3 bars and has always done a great job of tieing the bales, you always see a lot of cuts in the stretching bar of these balers just wondered does it need to be that tight?

    👍👌🇨🇦❤, is it more practical and more cost effective for people to use a contractor than to do the baling themselves?

      Depends how much you have to do and if you can get the contractor when you want them but if weather is good I tend to agree to an extent.

    Did u get a chance to measure the glass or do u still want it

    • @CowfarmerDan
      @CowfarmerDan  4 года назад +1

      The glass is an awkward shape, 35 inches high, 22 inches at it's widest point, then narrows towards the bottom.
