Kostas I think played for Houston Rockets with James Harden idk the year and Caboclo was drafted by the Raptors but played minimal to 0 minutes if I remember correctly
That Guy Yuki Kawamura. Been following his game in the Japanese League. And I'll tell you guys. His performance in the Olympics is no fluke. Kawamura will give you atlest a 15 and 10 a night easily. He is the best point guard in asia right now and if he ever makes it to the NBA it would be crazy to see how many dimes does Adams and Edey would get down low. He is also a knock down 3pt shooter. Obviously he is a liability on D but his speed makes up for it big time.
one problem, his defence will need to be godly for his height, like being able to block gobert kinda shit. Sure he could contribute to lets say a solid 30 pts(pts scorred+pts from assist), but if he lets up 40+pts, he ain t seeing the floor
None of those are hall of famers though? Also those are still very small number though and all black as well. Let's see the future for these Asain guys. I feel like defense would be a problem
@@Eclips10101 buddy it is one of the most relevant and current topic right now in the WNBA.. especially as we draw closer to the rookie of the year award ..
I recently started following Yuki Kawamura on the Grizzlies. First time I saw him, I couldn't believe what he was doing! He's making the extremely tall, well paid NBA superstars look like a fool on the court. I meant that with a lot of respect. This guy is extremely fast for his size. Absolute killer as a point guard. The no-look passes, he's got it mastered. In short, we can't keep him on the NBA. hahahaha!! He's SERIOUSLY very good.
I would love to see more Asian representation in the NBA. As it stands, we only had Yao Ming, Jeremy Lin, and Yuta Watanabe. I think he at least merits a chance to try out for the league.
Serbia is practical Jugoslawien(after the war they get devided in Croatia, Serbia, Bosnian and so on, but it was practical Serbia)and they won the gold medal in 1980
Great video but I don’t think teams thought of Giannis when looking at Cabocolo considering he was drafted a year after Giannis lol if I remember correctly he was supposed be 2 years away from being 2 years away from being the next KD
Well the Olympics is rigged, and in Paris more obviously than ever. The “4 point play” was obviously pre planned just like all world wide sports events. That aside, this dude is a beast and had the best individual performance in the 2024 Olympic bbal games
COOL VIDEO BRO DO A VIDEO ABOUT VASILIS TOLIOPOULOS THE GREEK STEPH CURRY HE HAD A GOOD EUROCUP AND WORLD CUP APPEARENCE COMING FROM A GREEK AND AN ARIS FAN
In the NBA, I feel like if you go lower than 6 ft you're asking for problems. CP3 is a genius at basketball and at his peak, he was defending some of the best scorers in the league. He was superstar material. This 5'6 guy NEEDS to be better than CP3 somehow, I don't know how but that's the only way he can even be considered.
Yuki is an offense monster but he will be a defensive liability. Fiba rules allow zone def but nba does not. If he gets switched at screen, they will eat him alive.
Lets name some 6 feet and under NBA players that had successful careers. Spud Webb, Mugsy Bogues, Avery Johnson, Fat lever(spelling?) and Nate Robinson. I know there is more but I cant remember their names
Small players have played before like Spud Webb who actually famously won the slam dunk contest. They allow many Shawn Bradley's, etc, to try out, who are really drafted for their height and almost no talent. There is a room full of them supposably coming into the league, maybe give some room for someone with actual talent. The two player rookies that made sensations this year were only hyped so much since they were a rarity for actually having talent for their monster size. Nba is about talent, not 0n how slow and tall you are. There is a kid going into college this year that is 7-11, they are not sure if he will even be able to compete at a college level since he is relatively slow and injury prone. He beat up his high school league only because he was two feet taller than his opponents. They are doubtful he can play pro. Give the small talents their due, not the giant talentless octopus men.
Shawn Bradley was not all height no talent. He had a 12 year career, was all rookie second team, had multiple years where he averaged double digits in points and was always near top in block shots. His first 7 seasons he was avg about 30 minutes per game. There is no way a no talent person would be doing that. There have been plenty of tall guys that were no talent but they didn't even make a roster let alone play for 12 years.
Yall smoking some good Kush. Olympics is not the same as NBA. Some of these guys only made the Olympics because they are one of best in their country not the world.
Yeah no. Pat Bev is by far the best player in Israel and is a superstar, but he can’t get a place in the NBA. This guy will be an instant bucket for any offense lined up against him. It just doesn’t translate to the NBA
Unless you’re the reincarnation of mugsy bogues short players won’t work …too many tall players can block your shot … it’s like a toddler playing against his taller dad not gonna happen… it’s just abuse 😡😡😡🙈🙈🙈

Being a liability in the regular season might not be a big deal, but the it's different in the playoffs. Players will hunt for match ups.

Yuki's best game was against france and france 100% cheated that game just so they wont get embarassed by an 5'7 point guard.
Miyagi Ryota is coming to the NBA!
That Yuki guy might be the second coming of Muggsy Bogues 🔥
NBA had a few good guards who were short. Calvin Murphy was 5’9”, Muggsy Bogues was 5’6”, and Spud Webb was 5’6”.
Earl Boykins 5'5"
Bogues was actually closer to 5'3" or 5'4" with shoes
Those were a different era
No matter the era, they were playing against taller guards.

i see what you did there
You cannot expect Kawamura to give you 10-15 pts all game, but you can expect him to set plays and give you 5-10 assist per game.
