Wow! Inspiring! I haven’t got to the drill the rivet stage yet, so I kept the original paint, flames, and wheels. I gave the scoop the black hole treatment as well as the ends of the exhaust. I went with a black radiator, leaving the chrome covering. I also painted the blower belt black, which I think is a great detail. Oh, and I highlighted the cowel vent black, which sets it off with the orange paint. I also tried outlining the doors and trunk lid in black, but I don’t like it. I tried yellow marker to define headlights but that didn’t add much. I am learning a lot and have been turned on to a great hobby because of your (and other’s) videos. Thanks!
I use a jewelers file to open up the axle slots, that way the new axles stay level and the wheels aren't unevenly set. The last one I finished was a Mini Cooper (the older casting with the removable body). If I use wheels with axle heads, such as TH wheels, I use the flat end of a tiny drill bit, and apply a dot of red paint to the ends of the axle heads, it creates a nice little detail from something that's already there, and looks pretty good. I might try making a custom from the car in the video, maybe just do a blackwash on the bare metal and a little browning effect on some of the chrome, like a rat rod, but a little less ratty. 😄
When I did mine I kept the body red with the Flames but I detailed everything and change the rims I put M2 rims on it. And I kept the Chrome Grille casing but painted the inside of the grill black. Nice job on yours I like the blue.
its 2 years ago that you this car maybe its ntime to do a re make over on this. it would be fun. I am going a Nova when I get all of a my tools needed your video on the Nova got me kick started on mind. do more videos. thanks. I am going to watch how to put wheelie bars on a Hot Wheel now. thank,Dave
That is so awesome. You asked in the description how we would do things differently, I would make mine an east coast body and channel the frame, putting the body over the frame, thus lowering the blue body piece.
If I might add in, I have the same car, and I was planning to start off the same way as you. Luckily, I have my own aluminum rivets, so they might work for putting back together. Naturally, the body is already wider than the frame except for the back fender, so all I have to do is sand down the rear area of both, and the rivet connectors on the body (metal body piece) and the chrome plastic body piece in the back, otherwise that will hit the rear hood and not allow the body to slide down. Next, unfortunately the hood scope won't budge if I were to slide down the body, so I may have to cut the hood scope off or something similar. Next step is to either find a wider axle for the rear, and the front so it matches in width, or sand down the wheel well in the back. For extra touch my friend is currently housing a 32 in his garage so I'll drill small holes in the firewall of the Hot Wheel as to where it would be in real life, and perhaps paint that. I almost can't wait to see how you do yours!
Hi from France. Great job ! I get the same Hotwheels 32 red flams Ford but i don't have the same talent like you to custom the diecasts ! All the Best.
If your not into the shiny chrome look like myself, one could hit the shiny chrome with a black wash to shine it down a tad. Take the radiator grille for instance.
Sassan V We show the product on our paint striping video. I used liquid stripper. But you can get a spray from any hobby shop or online at hobbylobby.com

Awesome! Sounds like you are creating some cool pieces. Keep it up!
Brilliant looking custom!
I have a few of those 32 ford's. I'm gonna have to redo mine .yours looks awesome 😎
I loved the blue colour it matches the style with the wheels and the accents it kinda has the feel of a nascar

nice job on drilling out for the front wheels
You made it look 20x better

Who else saw it had a different type of wheel on the left back? 00:46 Was that a valuble error?
MURRYCHOOCK Ha pretty cool. Good eye. I don’t collect them for the money 💰 . But someone would have kept it.
Ayyy you used the same wheels that I did with mine.
M2s. A car and 4 sets of wheels for $7 is a great deal.
AWESOME!!!!!!
where did u get the wheels
You got a link?
Very nice work. How do you secure the wheels?
M2 axels press right into the wheels. They are very easy to use
Appreciated. Thank You.
this sounds like asmr
You need to watch Rivera's hot wheels, there are much easier ways to customize hot wheels LMAO
Rivera is a good buddy of mine. I learn a lot from his channel
what material did you used to remove the paint?
Sassan V We show the product on our paint striping video. I used liquid stripper. But you can get a spray from any hobby shop or online at hobbylobby.com
Make of that wheels? Greenlight?
M2 wheels
i can swap wheels from a Greenlight model ?! Plug&Play?
khaluC totally! I'll make a video for green light- hotwheels wheel swaps. In the meantime check out my wheel swap videos

Luca's Dad The size of hot wheels axels are the same? From other makes?
Who else saw the bug crawling on the table 2:04
What?! You don't have pets?! Hahahaha. I've been photo bombed!
Lol
Id make mine lowered , matte black with red interior and some white walls
I myself would have kept the body without paint
I have a few that are bare with different clear coats
Where did you get those wheels from?
Alexander Saunders I think they are from an M2 Roadrunner. It came with 3 other sets of wheels
Luca's Dad thanks for the fast reply much appreciated
Anytime. Thanks for tuning in!
good
The problem with those 32 ford's are the axle gets bend very easily And ruins the car
Those are off an m2 car.
wow did u copy from fate of
the furious the begging race
No...But I just watched that scene. It's intense.
Zoom out
