Me too! I’m probably a good solid year for being able to budget that right now however small things here and there I’ll be able to get to. Rear suspension will be about a 1-2 month over haul of the entire rear of the truck. And yes the smiles this truck gives you is unbeatable
That's the pit between cold springs and red rock right, that thing is sick I'd love to see it in person bc I want to make a 1st gen into a prerunner type build
Got a first gen durango im currently building like this with a 4bt but keeping my towing capabilities and maybe not gonna be so extreme offroad aha just something i fan keep a steady 40 mph out on a random road or slide around wgen i want
Nice, just snagged a diesel. Wasnt in the market for one, but definitely want to overland it. Anyone know of any issues with the hidden compartments they can put in truck beds now?
@@Frank-o7u7f lol always keep it real lol It was a home made bit for that waste gate pretty easy and simple and everyone always puts their finger in the hole to ask what it is then realize what it is cause that finger is all black now lol
Damn im like i know that thrift store. Oh yeah its next to my rayleys i shop at. You wanna do some wheeling up here i know all the trails from reno to pyramid. Ive got a bunch of jeeps one of them i kind of off road race.
Looka awesome, and a lot of fun! You have a truck for work, this one's for FUN! LOL, Not sure if you mentioned it, but I'm curious what gears you are running with the 40's?
Trans was rebuild nothing to fancy not much “upgraded” stuff you can do but there’s more advanced newer things you can do to it like carbon synchronizers but good fluid and a southbend clutch makes it happen
@@IManOPERATOR thanks for the reply! I just noticed last night that my clutch could be dragging, so will be doing the pedal bushings and a master/slave assembly, hopefully it doesn’t need a rebuild or clutch but if it does I will look into southbend and those carbon, synchronizers, thanks for the tip! Sweet truck too man:)
Not every cummins truck is meant to work... mine is nothing more than a driver and I am building it to ride in soft comfort, not the stiff suspension work truck ride they are known for
@@IManOPERATOR EXACTLY!!! That's what many don't understand. We have multiple trucks here on our farm, all meant for different jobs. One truck is nothing more than a work horse, a tow pig, it's meant to do that single job the best way it can. My daily driver is built entirely different. Both the same truck mostly but set up for different jobs. I don't think my daily driver could tow anything more than an empty motorcycle trailer because anything more and it would squat to the bumps, but she rides like a Cadillac on the dirt roads. @@S_M_360 oh ya, I’m onto snowmobiling right now for this season. Cage money is being stocked up and she’s gana most likely be sent up to Washington to have a spec cage put in and the tube chassis the entire rear half of the truck and give her 24” of travel 👌🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼

Beautiful truck my brother it’s rare to see a single cab diesel set up like that
Thank you man! She’s been an amazing truck. Does Moab and the rubicon like it’s nothing. Also did a few trails and mobbed through hammers this year
Love the 2nd gen Cummins great video 🇺🇲
Thank you sir!
Cool dowg. Cool truck.
Good for you bubba.

Awesome truck I agree. Spray it in blue line X or superliner .
Ohh ya! Have some good thoughts on painting
That thing has to be running the pente na turbina mod sounding like that everytine you let off
She’s pushing a few extra bits 🤌🏼
Looks like a fun toy to me 👍👍
100% can’t wait to take her on trips
Finally a real truck ! no p ssy 4 door with a tiny bed !
Hell ya!!
Nice 4th gen also 💪🏻👍
Right! He did good work on it
First thing to come to mind, ram runner
Not half bad lol
After the vid, didn't realize he called it a ranch runner lol
Love the truck man.
Thanks man! She’s going to be on a road to be more bad ass soon
That thing looks hella fun! Time for the Reno/Vegas run🤘
Definitely in the works of being able to compete
Hell yeah! That's would be badass to see in the competition. I don't I've seen one like yours in yet.
Exactly one different from the bunch definitely stand out with this beast. Hopefully in a couple years it will become a reality
Power to you and can't wait to see it out there! that thing will be become the Baja killer💪. Also San Felipe the mint 400 would be a good run too.

Nope. Haven’t seen or heard of any issues I’ve personally been looking into the decked system seems bad ass
And on top of that you can actually work on those I wouldn’t know where to start with this newer stuff
So easy to work on! Ain’t one dang computer on this old girl!
They need to make wider fenders for the rear
I’ve seen some out there but not sure how much that large of a fiberglass panel would cost lol

Not so sure about that. That guy is pretty weird.

Where can i find the build history of this truck? Didnt find any videos of it under sol portraits youtube.
Sadly just some photos on a phone not much if any video footage of the beginning build

Some 1/8 plate bolted under the hood brackets 👌🏼
