Very good video! Thanks man. 👍 I plan on installing these myself on my 89 C1500. I put 295 50r 15s on the back thinking it would look cool because theyre so wide. But that rake in the rear just makes them look dumb. They look too short. Hopefully, dropping it a couple inches will fix that.
I've had some drop shackles installed on my 98 c2500 for about a year now. Found a 4-5/6 drop kit for it, but idk how much, if any, different the suspension is to a c1500.

great content i love the video, i can’t wait to see what you did to the 88 truck
Your truck your choice, looks great
Thanks man
Did you have to shim the rear axle to correct the pinion angle? I’m doing same thing on a 1997 Silverado 1500 2wd regular cab short bed.
@@billyhorton2966 not for a 2” drop if you where doing a 6” you would for sure probably even a 4” but not a 2”
@@claytonhatle.1988 thanks for the info!!
Plan on doing the same thing. Thanks do you need upgraded shoks or will the magnums do?
They should be fine
Do you have to remove the shocks before installing the shackles
@@shannoncofer8798 no
