I ALWAYS click when I see the words “Ted Greene.” Never been disappointed. Great job!!
Thanks, Ted's the best 😎
Oscar. The sound levels are where they should be. Most players play too loudly, with too "heavy a touch", etc.
This is VERY clean, legato and musical.
As you know, it IS difficult to make any piece of music "musical" on any amplified electronic instrument. Those of
we (that includes you - we can tell by your right hand position) who have classical guitar training have a much easier time with the required "touch" than others. Honestly....... a superb performance. :) Antoine
Thank you so much. I appreciate your lovely comment 😊
Yes, it's a tricky problem of really fine control. But in the opposite dynamic range to classical, where you are more often digging in a bit to get volume, while trying to stay clean. On electric, it's the opposite, to play very clean - you need a very light touch, maybe equivalent to pp, on a classical guitar.

Truthfully, that is why I stopped playing a classical guitar, as have many others.
We can all do a tremolo at at least 144 to 160 B.P.M. or faster, 16th note arpeggios at 160 to 180 B.P.M. or faster, etc., etc. I have played these on a Telecaster. It is "SO Sweet" to play with a very light touch, which in fact creates a very more smooth and dark sound then "digging into" the strings. Your playing is superb and your choice of repertoire equally so. Keep up the good work. :). Antoine
@@globalonemusic2381 Not my playing, but the original poster. But yes, I agree, really like his playing. Some others players I've been enjoying are, of course Julian Lage and John Scofield. But of the younger players, Hayden Pedigo and Nathaniel Murphy. I actually like the way Nathaniel uses the overtones of sometimes using louder dynamic into overdrive to conjure up voices, like the choruses of Beatles arrangements.
"Holy Smoke"!!! Very moving.....................I'm so friggin envious Dude!
Thank you for your kind comment 😎

Beautiful playing Oscar … have you also studied classical? You have a beautiful right hand!
Thank you Brian, I have indeed. I have some classical videos on the channel.
0:42 - 0:47 i was like "why is it getting so staccato?" then it was contrasted with the long-sustaining harmonic & it was beautiful
