I was making a run on it and himmler kept trying to sway the last warlord over to his side which made me unable to sway him, on this note after I console annexed the warlord (WW fucking 3 happened to give you an idea of how long it took) himmler refused to annex the last warlords he had on his side (Of whom i had no hope of swayin gto my side) so i ended up having to console annex them too, only for the whole 'if your not fast enough he fires the nukes' thing to happen. Its fun if you get a good run I can tell but my god can it be such an annoying slog only for 'Welp nukes' to just ruin the run.
There is a solution to win against burgundy. The event where nuclear war starts triggers when 20% of victory points are taken. It is possible to take every victory point at the same time so the event does not trigger. It is possible, cause I’ve done ot before, you can do it with America too

Something about this campaign is that you are suposed to take the wrangling the Reichstag position as soon as possible and get hid of the militarists as Goring, if you don't the world descents into WWIII

personally i wouldn't recommend it, i just played the new Heydrich and the post-civil war wasn't fun at all. at least the civil war was fun
