@BeaSides love it, Argument then war is killer, I owned most of their stuff on Cassettes, but I agree, dubbed tapes was the way most of us shared and owned metal, punk media in my area, i definitely didn't live in a prime area for early 80s metal and punk rock until the Heavy Metal shop opened up, I just love seeing DRI get love, such a great band, kind of like Metal Church doesn't get the love in thrash like they should. What a simply lovely vinyl tag. Fascinated by ventriloquists dummies records and the whole idea of evangelising with them. I wonder do any predominantly speak in tounges? I don't have any Spice Girls but Geri was always my favourite until she slimmed down i think now it's probably Sporty. Necer knew Doors were same year, ah so you did have a shop i kinda guessed because of the tastes, people that have owned or worked in a shop often get fed up of the mainstream but still have it alongside some more leftfield choices. As ever lots there to keep everyone happy 😊
Ooh…Yeah, probably no speaking in tongues for the puppets. We have several of those kinds of churches near us and they take that far too seriously to be silly with it. I’m just a heathen Methodist, so I can find humor in just about any and all of it. 🤷♀️ Is Sporty Spice still singing? Yes, Dave and I had a record store about a year too early for the vinyl resurgence to help us out. Our timing was way off, but we had fun trying. We both also worked in record stores (Dave much longer than me) and I dj’ed for a college radio station. We both really love all kinds of music! Variety is the spice of life!

Great video! Believe it or not, a record that I'm after is an evangelistic ventriloquist record. Back in the 80's, an evangelist named Lee Castro came to my church and his wife had this goofy ventriloquist dummy that she called Danny Jose. What makes it kind of cringy is that she isn't hispanic like her husband. She's blonde and her name is Kitty. That's right! Kitty Castro and Danny Jose. Now, we probably laughed at them more than we laughed with them but we were teenagers. Mocking came naturally at the age. Who am I kidding? I'm sure it wouldn't take a second for Todd and I to dust off our Danny Jose imitations. Good times! Hope your having a great new year!

Great video! Believe it or not, a record that I'm after is an evangelistic ventriloquist record. Back in the 80's, an evangelist named Lee Castro came to my church and his wife had this goofy ventriloquist dummy that she called Danny Jose. What makes it kind of cringy is that she isn't hispanic like her husband. She's blonde and her name is Kitty. That's right! Kitty Castro and Danny Jose. Now, we probably laughed at them more than we laughed with them but we were teenagers. Mocking came naturally at the age. Who am I kidding? I'm sure it wouldn't take a second for Todd and I to dust off our Danny Jose imitations. Good times! Hope your having a great new year!

Love the dinner party answer a lot. Crazy about weird Al, spike Jones, actually tried to track doen Peter Schikele (pdw bach) on road trips in past hoping to meet him... used to have that Desmond Decker lp with the amazing cover art in flashing colors. Great album and single.

My copy may end up as my pension plan!
Dave is a gear junkie. He got that microphone for us to stream, then decided he hated streaming. Probably time to put it to use! lol! Little secret that could get me kicked off the island…shhh!(all of my Beatles records are Walmart reissues that cost $15 or less. I am cheap and too stubborn to pay much for something as common as that!). Speaking of songs that are monsters: I found a MarkMorrison cd at the thrift the other day and had to buy it. That cd just makes me laugh. I love it! 😂😂

If you have the chance to invite anyone to a party, make them interesting! It’s a fun question and I like imagining what people would be like in combinations. Ya gotta get weird with it. As an Aussie, I guess you know that inviting Chris Lilley would be like inviting several people at once. How fun would that guy be?!? I don’t think I would have wanted to meet Lennon at all. Bob Dylan would be cool to hang with because I would love to talk to him about his visual art.
