Wow, I had no idea just how smart this charger was. I love that you can discharge your batteries and that it charges up to 6s. On top of all of that it gives you all the different types of batteries you can charge. At this price I believe it is the best deal out there for a charger. Well done Whirly! I'm sold.
@@WhirlyBloke Hey whirly I seen the givaway I have been taking advantage of the sales and buying parts. I just started building and it is pricey lol. Anyways I would most definitely put any of the chargers to good use and would love to win one. Thank you for everything you do!
Seems like a really nice charger that I can throw into the field bag. I really like the idea that you can set a minimum voltage for the input so you don't kill your source lipo.
Hi Do you know how I can see the charging current per cell? It only shows me the voltages on each cell, but I don't know how to make it show me how many mAh each cell has charged.
Hey, thanks for the video. Very new to FPV, just on pc sim's at the moment but always been a DJI guy, what sort of power supply would I need for this to charge off my wall socket in the UK? Is it even possible? Also what would the cost be? Just starting to price stuff up and didn't want to start purchasing stuff if I couldn't afford to charge it haha! Thanks.
Depends what you're charging, but you can either use a DC power supply or make your own out of a PC power supply. But if you want a good solid solution try one of these ruclips.net/video/foLjlGiB9j8/видео.html Or if you want something with an inbuilt supply try this ruclips.net/video/DD1EXWl04hg/видео.html or this ruclips.net/video/OsjFY3NhqHU/видео.html Thanks for watching.
Whirly If we want to connect a battery that has an xt30 connector to the xt60 connector of the ISDT, we would need an adapter or something like that? Thanks
Damn damn damn. Im getting back into the hobby after 25 years away form it. I bought this to charge 6s lipo for my newly acquired Arrma Typhoon 6s v5. That xt-60 plug - I can't charge my ec5 lipo thats in the post can I?
@@WhirlyBloke Thanks for getting back to me. Just ordered one. $5 off ebay -saves me buying a soldering kit. Next unpleasant discovery is it apparently doesn't come with a wall charger (unit hasnt arrived yet). Not sure how I managed to overlook that but I'm a bit bewildered how such an omission could get through quality control. I've seen people rewire an old laptop power cable as a solution but 1) thats a ridiculous amount of effort to go to and 2) they have to remove the earth as theres no place for it in dt-60 connector which is flat out bananas.
I just tossed one. Individual cell reading s were way off. DANGEROUS. Other chargers showed totally in balance and this one was for example 3.65, 4.1..how could I trust it? Balanced maybe 12 packs and then trash.
I would like to win this so I can give some vacations to my 5 years old thunderAC6. It really needs those because the readings are not accurate anymore. BTW. Thanks in advance sir for doing this videos and all the things and knowledge you share to us.
hi i gave you a thumbs up and ill take you up on the leave a comment-so here it is, if i gave you 30 gbp what charger would you buy?, im considering the imax b6 evo and this q6 nano, but dont let that sway you what would you buy?>
Budget isn't everything. You need to know what you're charging, do you need an internal power supply, or do you have an external DC supply? My preferred charger at the moment is the ToolkitRC M6D.
I maybe the only female who comments on this, that has to be worth something... Oh that and a new charger will probably save me burning my house down with my old, but so far faithful, b6 clone... 🤞
Hi Samantha. Some great comments on my channel so you've won one the chargers I'm giving away this week. Drop me your address on whirly@whirlybloke.co.uk and I'll get it shipped out.

thanks for the informative review

Small, can read internal resistance, easy to see screen, great value. Sweet little charger. Would make a great feild charger. 👍🤓

Generally with these sorts of charges, you can only see the overall current and red/green/amber indicators showing the relative balance charging.
With this charger can I plug it into a wall outlet or do I need another battery too be able too use it?
You'll need an external DC supply or battery.
ISDT has a great track record for being a quality charger. Great features at a great price. What's not to love?
Amaizing charger. Would be an amaizing upgrade from my 20$ one
Hello, can I pair this with the HobbyFly 1S Series Charging Board?
That should be fine. This is just a regular balance charger that will work with series or parallel charge boards.

Any updates on the ISDT P10? It looks really nice:)
I haven't seen one yet, but it looks good. Thanks for watching.

Yes. Just buy some XT30 and XT60 connectors and solder them together. You can buy these but they are much cheaper to make yourself.
Nice charger. New to fpv, so i haven't gotten around to getting a charger yet. The rtf kit chargers just don't cut it lol

Just make a plug convertor lead and you'll be sorted.

I like the size of that 6s charger...
Anyone connected this up to a 12v lead acid car battery? Thinking it might be handy if could charge from a car
That should work just fine.

Contact ISDT support. You never know where it might lead.

@@lazycarper7925 Then I suggest this ISDT Q6 Nano 200W 8A charger available here bit.ly/2XeK1Th
There is no balance charge
I think you'll find there is. It's a balance charger after all.
@WhirlyBloke mine gives two options:
Go ahead and charge with no balance
or don't charge at all. I'll send you a photo of the screen.
Take away the plast from the screen!!!???
