I met two venezuelan guys who had similar jobs 😢 I still have memories of the pre-chavistas era and they had a lot going for them. Great tourism, great spanish dubbing, beautiful women. Man, this kinda makes me nostalgic.

I worked with 2 Venezuelans. One of them from the country side and one was raised in Caracas. One of the most dangerous cities in the world. He always sat with his back towards a wall. Or when he worked he asked to be put on a station with his fellow countrymen behind him. Work always obliged him. Those two were so nice.
The one from Caracas told me “you couldn’t pull your phone out if you did it was gone in seconds. Anything of value leave it at home” props to xaryu for this

This is how people should help others. Not just donating to a corporation where the money will be lost. I contacted a random venezuelan girl who worked part time as a radio host assistant. She needed a new phone for work so I sent her the money she needed. I hope she is doing well ❤

As a venezuelan myself i can tell that this changed his whole life, living here is pretty hard and you need to work alot just to make a few dollars, this shows that there is still good people in the world
