    • @VerticDesigns

      you just simply re-select those areas with the object selection tool but make sure the second mode is selected otherwise it will create a new selection. Normal Left Click and Select = ADD and ALT + Left Click = SUBTRACT

    • @VerticDesigns
      @VerticDesigns  2 года назад

      In that situation it's difficult to separate them I totally get you. You could try threshold adjustment in the adjustments to see which is brighter the hair or the background and select the background with the quick selection tool or if you go to select at the top and try colour range. Then sample the background and see if that selects the background. Unfortunately at this moment in time there isn't many quick fixes so you could try adjusting the image with the adjustments and play around with the brightness and contrast

    I have a question I hope someone can help me with please. Let's say I have an image that that is 680 by 544 pixels and I want to increase the image keeping that same proportion. Is there some type of calculator for this? I found an image with those dimensions and I want to increase it but I want to keep that same proportion have no idea how to do this.

    • @VerticDesigns
      @VerticDesigns  2 года назад

      You can press CTRL + ALT + I then when the window pops up set your preferred size and it will automatically match it with with Height and Width. To unlock the aspect ratio just left click on the chain and add your own custom size. Also a great thing to do is to also set the sample mode to "Preserve Details 2.0" that will maintain the quality. If you need more help there's a video on my channel called how to make images larger

    • @barbra429
      @barbra429 2 года назад

      @@VerticDesigns Hi, I know how to use that dialog box but the problem is I don't know what numbers to enter. For example, the original numbers are 680 pixels wide by 544 pixels high, how can I increase those numbers in increments and keep those proportions that I started out with. If I increase by 1000 pixels, will the new size be 1680 x 1544 pixels, I'm not sure if that's how it works when increasing images in pixels, yes it's accurate mathematically but is it accurate in Photography? Hope this makes sense.
