Hi Peter & Yen! Very nice place to explore. Even the tour guide won't be able to show all the places you visited. Thanks for showing us around. Beautiful place.👍

Good morning guys, a lovely spread of breakfast. Your breakfast area, is so airy and weather continues to be great (more than I can say for NZ this last week) Safranbolu is a throwback in time, locals old and young seems so keen to share. The building color and texture, a photographer’s paradise 📷 Look forward to your next sharing tomorrow 😀
Morning L H, we did get a few rainy days during our stay in turkey but for the vast majority it's been nice and warm 😊 the people of safranbolu are lovely. What adventures did you get up to back in New Zealand this week?
@@PeterandYen Morning or afternoon both, Joyce and I had a 3 hour walk at Long Bay's lovely coast line, just before the heavy weather set in. We had a lovely lunch at Sugar n Cup in Browns Bay, one of the better coffee. I was so sure that I posted my comments which I wrote after dinner (Sunday), must have press cancel instead of post comment. I can only blame it on me being distracted from the north east wind of 70 kph blowing 💨with heavy rain 🌧, living in the lovely Dairy Flats country side
😅 the winds sound terrible! Both our mums and dads have been saying how bad a winter it has been. Hopefully you've managed to get some clear days on your travels too 🤞🇳🇿
Definitely putting this city in my bucketlist in Turkey beside Istanbul and Cappadocia. Thank you Peter and Yen. Ur videos are amazing 😍❤ The place u are staying and breakfast also superb ❤
We loved our time in Safranbolu and a large part of that was thanks to the Akbulut family and staying at their konak 🙂 Hope you'll enjoy it too when you visit!

Hahaha that key made laugh for some reason…was so cartoonish… too bad it’s not the key used to open the door 🔑… Breakfast looked amazing..especially the ezme… for some reason the French fries made me laugh.. random, I know. Next time I need to get limestone out of something, I’ll try the 🐶 💩😁. Looked like an amazing 5 days filled with meeting kind friendly people. Looking forward to the next one…and good job finding your accommodation at the end 👏 . Safe travels guys!
😂 really I think our navigation has increased since this last trip we've definitely gotten lost less than usual. In my defense that large key does work but only for the front door 🚪 😂😂 Breakfasts here were the best... so filling though sometimes that was us done for the whole day 😅
@@PeterandYen Had no idea cheese was such a big part of Turkish cuisine.... Not sure if this will help (it's a dorky thing I do)... but whenever I go somewhere new, I figure out which way north is... and then it kinda puts everything in place and makes it harder to get lost/disorientated. I also keep track of the sun's position. Just typing that makes me sound like a weirdo😳... Nevermind... stick to the Peter navigation system😁
Thanks for your vlogs.. Such lovely places.. beautiful and friendly people and yummy Turkish food. I was there 22 years ago and watching your vlogs brought back lovely memories Be safe out there 🙂
Oh wow that camera pan across the table of food was a brilliant opening to the video and made us all very hungry! Oh my gosh that rug on the wall behind you at the start - that rug is just amazing! Just a wonderful old home there and yeah just 250 years! Yeah the wood smell in the room be so nice! Oh wow that food was just a breakfast, yeah that would feed you for the whole day! Yeah so it was a cheese puff type thing, but wow can't get over that was your breakfast! Yeah so great you had so many friendly people to help! Wow canyon and waterfall there too, crazy cool stuff! Such an amazing job on this!
😁👍 glad you enjoyed this one. One of our favourite experiences in turkey was just chilling out in safranbolu. Incredible town and people and Yen and I will miss it a lot. Can't wait to come back again one day for a longer trip 😁
They really were so lovely! We miss Safranbolu ❤️ have you seen our hot air balloon video by any chance Leah? There's a cafe we ate at which we reckon you'd love! Soo many adorable cats! 🥰🥰🥰
Aw thanks! But yea Turkey has adorable cats everywhere! Their strays are so well looked after and protected by both locals and the law 🙂❤️🐈🐈🐕🐕🐾 the cats are extra friendly and some just randomly come up to you for snuggles!
Love authentic old homes too! They are so unique and beautiful. Wow, 500 y/o ottoman house! What an honor to stay in one of those! What a wonderful time you guys spent there, it shows the history of the country, the hospitality of the people and the wonderful food all over! Look at that shop Tugra Bakircilik, it is a total gem. Oh that's tough as they're completely different experiences but both wonderful places. I guess it depends on what you enjoy more though.
