I sustained a very bad grease burn at work and have been in the hospital for well over a week and have not been able to play the game yet. If you mean gear that's hard it's not like other games where it's mainly for looks...the gear in this is like division they have gear lvl making your guy stronger or weaker depending on the gear lvl you have on for the fight your in

When it comes to seeing enemies, that's also where your alternate vision modes can come in (mainly thermal)... It doesn't always help, but there have been times where it really helped me to see my target.

So the lighting coming out of the bay door that you didnt like, is a very real representation of what you see when coming out of a dark area and into a light area. I thing the people designing the game did an awesome job on that.

The glowing effects around the character i find is caused by the ambient occlusion setting, if you run vulcan it shouldn't be a big problem, but if your running the normal version turn of ambient occlusion to get rid of that glow you can see at 14:09

Anubis Perry you can use cosmetic only versions of the gear you pick up, so its way more lenient than the division
