Seephh in case you don't see my comment I'll put it here too, I know some people are asking you to react to the full 39 minutes Ghosts short film for Halloween but it contains songs you still haven't heard, Is It Scary and Ghosts which are on the 1997 remix album Blood On The Dance Floor with a few new tracks (including Is It Scary and Ghosts), so don't do the full 40 minutes short film now and react to the full BOTDF album songs in full first cause they are not played in full in the short film and it can be distracting for you, and there is a lot of dancing, after reacting to the songs and fully appreciate them then react to the full movie and focus on the story,
I wouldn’t say it didn’t drag him down, the allegations (especially the 2nd one he fought in court), really damaged him mentally. He wasn’t the same. He ended up leaving the U.S., living in a recluse lifestyle. I certainly didn’t blame him. If you watch Searching for Neverland (even read the book), you’ll see how much it took a toll on him. When he came back for the This Is It concerts, he felt like he was forced to do it to get him out of debt, he didn’t feel like he had it in him anymore to perform. So much came out, like agreeing to reunite with his brothers again on stage, when he outright said This Is It was going to be his curtain call. Who knows where he’d be right now if he was still alive.
Oh for sure, it affected him a lot, especially the 2nd one that went to trial, so much so that he left Neverland and never came back, he said it was not a home anymore after all these raids 😥😥 many people close to him said his spirit got broken after the 2005 trial 💔 but Michael was still sooo strong to be able to keep moving forward, stronger than I ever would be!

The history album was originally going to be just a greatest hits album with two bonus tracks but when they were picking which two new songs to put on Michael had done so many good new songs that they decided to do a whole new album packaged with the greatest hits and even went on a worldwide tour with the new album. It's on RUclips when his sound engineer talks about it.
Totally a rollercoaster, loved what you said! He goes from frustrated to sad, that's why some say this is their favorite album, cause it's more real and personal and he's letting it all out, he's going at everybody and he's had enough!

I would recommend watching Ghosts for your Halloween reaction! It's Amazing! When you see him perform 2 Bad you'll jump out of your seat screaming and dancing! I'm a dancer and let me tell you the choreography is OUT OF THIS WORLD!

But how old are you? I assumed you were somewhere age wise too young to ever have played on the 16-bit consoles.... Or were/are you a retro-gamer?
Im 36 but I grew up poor, when everyone had Playstation I had an atari 2600 by the time ps2 came out I was still rocking a Sega master system and played my brother's Mega drive and Nintendo. Same with dvds, when most familys had dvd players I had a worn out VHS player and no live TV 😅
