07:57 is in IMO the most powerful lines in MJs career, and he has a lot of them. I am excited that this song got such a good rating, its definitely and underrated gem! It really gives you a certain kick every time you listen to it! To have this in A rank along with Billie Jean and Beat It is something that I am sure will have MJ smiling from wherever he is
Michael's music is always so motivational! I also love the contrast between the verses and the chorus, after all the anger and venting in the majority of the songs, he is still in a "fighting" more like determined energy and then in the pre chorus and the chorus he sings sweetly and before the chorus and at the bridge he sounds very compassionate and sensitive to what he's singing about! Get ready for the next song!
don't be too sad, Steph. luckily Michael recorded soo many songs throughout his career (that he didn't release) that, even after you complete his album discography, there will be many songs still to react to.
Oooh Yes. Another day with Lenny Kravitz and All in your name with Barry Gibb are my favourites at the moment. But I cannot really say, because I love them all ❤.
I just learned Quincy Jones died 2 days ago, how sad... he produced 3 of MJs albums, he was very talented, now all the main people who were involved with the making of the iconic Thriller album are gone, Bruce Swedien, Rod Temperton, Michael and now Quincy Jones :/
Boyz II Men are featured as the backing vocals! And other people as well I think kinda like a choir! I'm so happy you like this one, it's beautiful and very inspiring ❤
Given the election results today, this is very prescient. This song gives me goosebumps EVERY TIME!!! I love your reaction as I think that's exactly the reaction MJ was shooting for! Thank you so much for this!
Also Michael Jackson and Donald Trump were good friends he stuck up for Michael lots of times there are a few RUclips videos with them together and trump stating that he knew the real Michael and has nothing but praise for him.
This song is incredible, Michael himself as a child singing about entering HIStory for the Michael who carved his name in History. Michael and Madonna are the historical bearers of pop music for the entire 20th century. Here in Brazil the music arrived in a different guise, at that time we still received the album on different dates around the world This version that arrived in Brazil: Discogs has this information in our version: ruclips.net/video/lM1Q-znzIXw/видео.html ⇒ "HIStory" omits its original intro and was replaced with a new intro similar to the original.
Yes ... one of the very best Michael Jackson songs I have ever heard and very good and 'moving' reaction Seph Thank you! He sings really well and to be honest I have never dug his voice like his dancing and some of the incredible songs, but he sings this PERFECTLY.😀
yes seph that was baby Michael in the beginnig of the song and I am so happy you like it though i am afraid you wont like the next song on the album which is calld little susie
That's also my guess. With “Will You Be There”, he didn't like the choir and the classical music at the beginning of the song. My first thought at the time was that he probably didn't like “Little Susie” either. By the way: I love “Little Susie”
Interestingly enough, this version wasn't used for a video. They did use a remix version that was on the Blood on the Dancefloor-album that was mostly a remix-album of History songs, so I guess you will come past it at some point.
Yes I think you have got it wrong I think it's the opposite to what you think but it does put a new meaning to the song saying that I've always thought the opposite ❤
He does that a few times in his later music where he goes from a heavy vocal into a Ballard and another song like that is Morphine which you’ll be getting to soon on the album Blood on the Dancefloor, I’d say it’s his most haunting and honest song but it’s very jarring on your first listen so beware of that because the actual content is tragic and important to his history (and how he died). In terms of this song I enjoy it I think the lyrics are great and the way he incorporated all the history was excellent. It’s not my favourite but I think it’s a worthy piece, I’d definitely place it lower on my own list though. (Who is it is one of my faves and you placed it above it I was screaming hahahaha) That is him in the beginning, I don’t think that’s him at the end but I might be wrong on that as I haven’t looked into it. If you like the concept of him singing with his younger self he did do a Pepsi commercial for the song I’ll be there where he sings it as an adult with his younger self and it’s so touching and it almost made me tear up lmao. I recommend it! ❤
Those lyrics got to you Seph!!! ❤️ Michael always does that, right? His prophecies are nothing but divine. And the beat, Jesus. His middle name should have been Rhythm, not Joseph. He didn’t sing it if he didn’t mean it, Amen. Thank you Seph for sharing your reaction, it was awesome. ❤️
Not one of my favorites for Michael either however, this song is great on stage!! So lovely to hear Michael's voice! Michael said Joseph used to say to the boys you better sing it like you mean it! And I think that's why Michael says I don't sing it unless I mean it.
If your wondering what victory is victory is the Jackson’s album. The reason why it’s my favorite is because I like some of the songs in the album but I do like the victory tour they did. Although I guess Micheal didn’t like the tour Becuase he wanted to go solo
Not only the thriller and victory era is my favourite Becuase of the songs, I also like micheals jherri curl hair. It’s my favorite hairstyle of mj. That hairstyle only lasted for 4 or 5 or 6 years
Wow. You actually like this song?? Wow. And the fact that you gave it an A rank is incredible to me. I wouldn't have expected that. Most MJ fans don't necessarily care for it. They don't hate it. They just don't care for it. They don't even bring it up. It's just there. It's not a favorite of mine either. I actually prefer the remix (Tony moans remix) on the next album blood on the dance floor
@archangelrapheal5231 you love this song? It's your fifth favorite? Shocking. That's unusual. Wow, I've been a part of MJ fan communities for years and you're the first MJ fan to put this song among your favorites. Good for you.
In my opinion: this is one of Michael's greatest and most underrated songs ever.
Agreed!

you gotta react to him performing this live. i love the base drop in this song and mike hits it like no other on stage.
Oh I hope Seph makes a reaction to a HIStory concert.
Michael's music is always so motivational! 😮😮😮😮 Boyz II Men? OH, I didn't know.. THANKS ❤
Beautiful song and comments, Seph!
Given the election results today, this is very prescient. This song gives me goosebumps EVERY TIME!!! I love your reaction as I think that's exactly the reaction MJ was shooting for! Thank you so much for this!
I know a felon is now president.

Until know you have put 6 of the new songs from this album in your S/A MJ list and 4 in S. I think this is a big “yes” for this album!
You need listen "Morphine" of History Remix Album😉
Micheal Jackson 👑
Btw this song is beautiful full of details and very creative!
Yes ... one of the very best Michael Jackson songs I have ever heard and very good and 'moving' reaction Seph Thank you! He sings really well and to be honest I have never dug his voice like his dancing and some of the incredible songs, but he sings this PERFECTLY.😀
Also I'm pretty sure he sings "before we learn to live as brothers and BE one family", not "leave" lol
This song is also amazing live ❤
Great message though ..Everyday create your history! We are all one
yes seph that was baby Michael in the beginnig of the song and I am so happy you like it though i am afraid you wont like the next song on the album which is calld little susie
what, its really goood song. I love Michael's vocals on it
Not sure why you think he won't like it, he may get emotional though
yes but I dont think seph wil like it because of the choir and the long intro. but I really like the song
He asked about the voice at the end which wasn’t Michael. He was singing with some girl.
That's also my guess. With “Will You Be There”, he didn't like the choir and the classical music at the beginning of the song. My first thought at the time was that he probably didn't like “Little Susie” either. By the way: I love “Little Susie”
some songs make more sense when seen and heared on the tour
I love this song and the lyrics it’s so interesting and is great to watch performedlive too
Disneyland was very revolutionary
Finally my favorite song, it is so amazing!! Plz make sure to check Michael's performance on 1995 MTV, it's epic!!!
One of my favourites. This is soooo good 😮🎉. Ps Such a pity MJs Superbowl performance has been left out 😢
❤❤
I think it's historic things that happened in the whole world not just american history
Interestingly enough, this version wasn't used for a video. They did use a remix version that was on the Blood on the Dancefloor-album that was mostly a remix-album of History songs, so I guess you will come past it at some point.
This song is beautiful and soo creative!! Sounds very "historic" haha ❤
He isn't really rapping the verses, he's just singing more aggressively
The single version is different but I love both
Yes I think you have got it wrong I think it's the opposite to what you think but it does put a new meaning to the song saying that I've always thought the opposite ❤

No way is History better than Who Is It lol
26 march 1827-death of Beethoven
28 Nov 1929-Day Berry Gordy was born
This has it moments for me. There are two versions of this song and this has the altered intro. The remix is no bad.
I miss the original beginning, I think it fits the song better.
Those lyrics got to you Seph!!! ❤️
Michael always does that, right?
His prophecies are nothing but divine.
And the beat, Jesus. His middle name should have been Rhythm, not Joseph.
He didn’t sing it if he didn’t mean it, Amen. Thank you Seph for sharing your reaction, it was awesome. ❤️
The HIStory Remix is 10x far better imo!!! (On the BOTDF Album)
I think it was just a random child at the end not Michael but it is similar to Michael's ❤
Uh-oh Little Susie is next
@@kellyalexander3287 I LOVE LITTLE SUSIE SO MUCH
more MJ
Not one of my favorites for Michael either however, this song is great on stage!! So lovely to hear Michael's voice! Michael said Joseph used to say to the boys you better sing it like you mean it! And I think that's why Michael says I don't sing it unless I mean it.
What’s your favorite era of Micheal jackson? My favorite Is thriller and victory 1982-1984. Although I do like all the other eras at the same time
If your wondering what victory is victory is the Jackson’s album. The reason why it’s my favorite is because I like some of the songs in the album but I do like the victory tour they did. Although I guess Micheal didn’t like the tour Becuase he wanted to go solo

Not true I actually love this song, this is my fifth favorite song from him
I've always liked this. I think it's super creative.

@bradenputt2723 wow. Another one. That is soo cool
I love this song ❤ it's inspiring!
