No, you can't. I spent a lot of time in Poland, watching Polish TV and their "lector" thing just destroys every movie, it's terrible, you can't properly hear sound effects and music, nor original voice, you can't properly hear even that stupid lector, it's just terrible.
Only Polish person born in Poland can tolerate such terrible thing because they are used to it. It's better just add subtitles than destroy movies like that.

@@lupinrowling3634 What makes you think it's 8 in original? She says "Ask again and you'll be *down to* 8 lives" - meaning that now she has 9 and will lost one of the lives. In Russian they translated it differently for some reason: "Ceraful, or you'll lost *all* of your 9 lives" - I still don't understand why they changed the line, but the point is: cats have 9 lives both in Russia and in the USA (original).
I know a little German and I heard that she was sayng "6 lives" in German and I was surprised by that, but I guess that's exactly what the topic started meant
